Report to appear here later..... Right, that's the last straw. I'll make one up. Mike **** Did quite well in some races but didn't score 21. Daniel ***** Anyone riding with one leg is pretty d**n good. Sam ***** Anyone riding with one leg is pretty d**n good. David &&&&& Oooops, wrong key, now where's delete. Ole ** Should have retired years ago. Stephen Hawkins *** Lots of stars, and some black holes, maybe, theoretically if dark mass exists and balances the universe. Jim Bowen *** Great Smashing Super. Kelvin Tatum * Anyone who can't ride with only one bad hip is a bit of a wuss in my opinion. Track Conditions: A bit dirty. Crowd: A semi detached stoat, with a magnificent entrance hall and a large sign saying "I am a stoat". Hey Jude *** Don't take it bad. Nah, nah, nah..... Perrier Water * If is has taken millions of years to filter through volcanic rock, why does it have a sell by date in 2 months time. Is two months going to make that much difference? This match reporting is easy. I don't know why I didn't do one earlier. What's the delay? radioworldwide.gospelcom.net/essaygenerator/badger

WOLVES 62 ARENA-ESSEX 30, ELITE LEAGUE B, MONDAY 16TH AUGUST
Parry’s International Wolves:
Mikael Max 3 1* 3 3 =10+1 Daniel Nermark R/R Fredrik Lindgren 1 1 3 2 2* =9+1 Sam Ermolenko 3 3 0 3 1* =10+1 David Howe 3 2* 3 1 2 =11+1 Adam Skornicki 1 3 2 3 1 2* =12+1 Simon Stead 2* 1 2* 2* 3 =10+3
AF Stocktaking Hammers:
Mark Loram 2 4 2 2 3 =13 Grzegorz Walasek R/R Dean Barker 2 1 fx =3 Steve Masters 0 0 0 =0 Paul Hurry 2 0 3 0 0 0 =5 Tomas Topinka 0 1 3 1 1 0 1 =7 Leigh Lanham 0 0 0 1 1 0 =2
When the teams were announced for this match, a big win was predicted by many Wolves fans, but it was not expected to be this big! Who can remember the last time that every member of the side scored paid double figures? Everyone really mucked in and tried their hardest, although the racing was not always of the finest quality for the Sky cameras. To be fair, Arena were never really in it from the start, with Greg Walasek still out injured (although he managed to win a meeting in Poland the day before……) and Josh Larsen absent due to his foot injuries. Apart from Loram and Barker, their side looked almost of Premier League standard, and Wolves laid into them accordingly.
After Sky delayed the start of the meeting until 8:10, despite the threat of thunderstorms in the area, Wolves won the toss and took the inside gates.
Heat 1: Max, Loram, Skornicki, Topinka, 57.07. 4-2, 4-2.
Mikael from the start, while Adam’s race-long pressure paid off with an inside move on the final lap as Tomas “Shmoke and a Pancake” (if you want to know more, ask MM2) lifted exiting turn two. Mmm donuts!
Heat 2: Skornicki, Stead, Topinka, Lanham, 57.90. 5-1, 9-3.
Shmoke and a Pancake led at the start, but Adam and Simon brilliantly went around him on the first lap for the 5-1.
Heat 3: Ermolenko, Barker, Lindgren, Masters, 58.21. 4-2, 13-5.
Sam led from turn two, while Barker went round Freddie on the first lap and held on despite Freddie trying a variety of lines, before locking up on the last lap.
Heat 4: Howe, Hurry, Stead, Lanham, 57.41. 4-2, 17-7.
Wolves gated (yes!) but Hurry slid down the inside of Lanham and Simon on the back straight for second.
Heat 5: Ermolenko, Loram (double), Lindgren, Lanham, 57.34. 4-4, 21-11.
The earliest double ever seen at the Green, but it came to nothing as Sam shot down the outside of Loram on lap one and looked as if he was going fencewards, but held it well to take the lead. Freddie kept Lanham at the back and the advantage was the same.
Heat 6 (re-run): Topinka, Skornicki, Max, Hurry, 58.16. 3-3, 24-14.
At the first attempt Adam and Mikael both appeared to move, with Mick Posselwhite calling it back. In the rerun Shmoke and a Pancake did exactly the same, but the race continued!
Heat 7: Skornicki, Howe, Barker, Masters, 58.51. 5-1, 29-15.
From the gate – again!
Heat 8 (re-run): Lindgren, Stead, Lanham, Barker (f.excl), 58.82. 5-1, 34-16.
Simon led the first staging, with Freddie going inside Barker at the end of the first lap. Barker tried to retake the place, but wound on too much throttle on the pits turn and clipped the fence exiting turn two, falling spectacularly. He walked away, but his meeting was sadly over. The rerun saw the Wolves pair battle past the fast starting Lanham to secure the 5-1 by half distance.
Heat 9: Hurry, Lindgren, Topinka, Ermolenko, 58.72. 2-4, 36-20.
Hurry led from turn two, while Sam survived a lock-up on lap three, but took Wolves’ only last place of the night.
Heat 10: Max, Stead, Topinka, Masters, 58.35. 5-1, 41-21.
I took a risk before this one, stating “If this ain’t a 5-1, I’m an Andy Smith fan!”. Fortunately for me, it is happy to record that the Wolves led from the start, and the win was in the bag.
Heat 11: Howe, Loram, Skornicki, Hurry (double), 57.97. 4-2, 45-23.
Hurry was hastily introduced as a double tactical in this one, but Adam kept him out of it at the back. David led all the way.
Heat 12: Stead, Lindgren, Lanham, Topinka, 58.86. 5-1, 50-24.
The 5-1 was assured from the first lap – the big question now was; could we hit 60?
Heat 13: Max, Loram, Howe, Hurry, 58.47. 4-2, 54-26.
Loram led for half a lap before Mikael powered through on the inside. David tried the inside line but couldn’t catch the ex-world champion.
Heat 14: Ermolenko, Skornicki, Topinka, Lanham, 59.41. 5-1, 59-27.
Sam led all the way, while Adam came out on top after a good battle with Shmoke and a Pancake.
Heat 15: Loram, Howe, Ermolenko, Hurry, 3-3, 62-30.
Sam took third from Hurry on the back straight, but Loram simultaneously went inside David to lead, and went on for his only win of the night.
Five Star Ratings:
Weather: **** Lightning could be seen over the Park, but it stayed dry throughout. Track conditions: ***** For once the track did not slicken off in the latter stages – reflected in the race times. Attendance: **** A shmoke and a pancake of a crowd. Wolves Performance: ***** Consistent, but Arena were poor. Entertainment value: *** Could have been better. Man of the Match: I could hardly decide between any of them, but it goes to David Howe for fast and consistent gating. Referee (Mick Posselwhite): **** Let Topinka get away with jumping the start, but OK other than that.
Rider Ratings:
Mikael Max: **** Apparently missed Heat 15 due to feeling the effects of his World Cup crash, but it didn’t show in his earlier races. Fredrik Lindgren: **** Please come back next year! Sam Ermolenko: **** You’ve got one more year left in you! David Howe: ***** One of his best performances of the season – apparently thanks to a new engine. Adam Skornicki: ***** On top form all night – if only he rode like this every week. Simon Stead: ***** Sign this guy up full-time now!
So, a big win, but can we take the bonus point next week? Before that, however, Wolves go to Swindon on Thursday (looks like a big crowd of fans will travel too) and then the home meeting with the Beethens next Monday. Let’s hope tonight’s form can be carried over to these matches.
See you at the Green (and possibly at Blunsdon)
Pieman.

Thankyou Pieman! I knew I wouldn't agree on your man of the match, it was a difficult decision to make and as I haven't got the guts to do a report myself, I won't say any more about it. By the way - when do you get your results? Got to be soon surely? I have everything crossed for you

Nice job mate ;D An impossible choice to give a man of the match but it certainly was good to see David in such good form.

Absolutely shmoking (and a pancaking) report Pieman. I agree with David as man of the match - his best form of the season though they were all excellent.
Great report too Mandy... any news on Martine and the court case?

Great report too Mandy... any news on Martine and the court case? It looks like I'm going to be ok. The Court Order only prevents me sending body hair through the post. As I hand delivered the package to her home address, legally that cannot be defined as "through the post". She'll never prove anything.
