Thanks Rich and MM2. Sorry I was an intermittent visitor but I had to strip the wallpaper off the kitchen wall in between coughing bouts and looking in on the Forum. Hoping the flu will have cleared off before Ipswich on Thursday. Night night all.

I have just got back from the meeting, I live in Cornwall so this was a home meeting. It seemed to me that we were over confident for the first four heats then did not have enough heatwinners to get back. Adam was extremely slow out of the gate all night and was usually 30 yards behind within a lap and a half. PK got stuck in but for 10 heats only Graham Jones looked competetive. Credit to Trelawney, Zagar and Harris were fast and mostly too good for us. In too many heats we were beaten after 25 yards. Sam and Ollie got some respectability back late on but it was too little, too late. Count the heat winners. Not good enough.

I wonder where beegee is tonight Its unlike her to miss being a cyberfan I'm here now Rich sorry I missed your updates but I have just become a Grandmother so I was celebrating elsewhere ;D ;D. I am really shocked at the score as I thought we would win this one without much trouble. I would have had to get the bottle of brandy out again.. to drown my sorrows. I will definatly be here on Thursday for the updates fron Ipswich.

It seems that we all seriously underestimated Trelawny then. I don't think any EL club should underestimate a PL team on their home patch Well done Trelawny

Just caught up with the updates. Thanks to Rich who did a great job again. Sorry that the reports were few and far between, I tried everything but only managed to get a very dodgy signal about twice. Seems orange phones are useless in the quarry. Thanks to Dave Rattenbury (the Wolves track shop man) I managed to borrow his vodaphone for a couple of quick reports!
It was quite comical, I'm sure the locals thought I was mad... there was one spot, way away from the track on the 3rd bend (near the lake!) where you *might* get a signal. I was dashing over there, then back again to watch the racing. The locals told me that my "English" phone didn't work and I needed a cornish one!
Cheers, Mark.
