Thanks for the updates Oh well I guess that someone had to let Belle Vue win a match eventually, shame it was Wolves.

Not good enough.
They have done nothing all season but then they turn us over easily. Who thinks we'll make the play-offs now ?
BTW I'm the eternal optimist......NOT

Thanks, everyone. Another disappointment. I remember Tom Leadbitter at a service station answering my young, innocent enquiry whether we could win at Belle vue in the KO cup with a big laugh and the prediction that we would be lucky to get 25. At least we bettered that.

Yes,thanks to all for the top information service, our boys might not be on top form, but the live update crew certainly are!!!!!!
I knew it would be a tough season, expected a little better though.Still lets hope that Daniel keeps fit this season, keeps his average down at Ipswich, and lets get him back in the No6 race jacket with Chris next season. safe trip home for our 'Wanderers' at Belle Vue.We are Wolves...good night

Who thinks we'll make the play-offs now ? utw This wasnt a league match tim, it was the 1st leg of the Knockout Cup. So although a win would have been nice I guess we should be confident of beating a Crumpless Belle Vue by more than 8 pts on Monday night.

Rich, It wasn't a league match, but if we can't beat BV on their own patch, then where do we pick up the away point nedded to finish 4th or higher?
I fear the worst, and am getting fed up with seasons of struggle. It's always difficult to follow a championship year, but CVS has failed miserably in exploiting the rules to his advantage. The Pratt has got it just about right.
Rolling averages give a huge advantage to those teams who pick riders that are improving. Effectively 5 of Coventy's team are riding on a false average - we have 2 - there's the difference. The rules this year were simple to use to your own advantage. We picked the wrong rider(s). If you looked at team averages rather than green sheet rolling averages you would see why the table is as it is and why we are struggling.

I can't see that happening myself and no I don't think we will make the playoff's but I never really thought we would! Having 4 doubleing up riders was a mistake I think and even if we had one of our own reserves tonight I still don't think we would have won.
