Although we are always likely to lose at Peterborough, whenever the fixture is staged, questions have to be asked as to why CVS accepted this fixture change at such short notice. Its hard enough to get close there without taking an out of form, unfit team! I do not understand the logic in it at all. He is risking jeopardising the rest of the season. I am quite sure that 3 meetings in 4 days is NOT what David Howe needs at this stage in his recovery.
But, what's done is done, lets hope they can hold it close enough to give us a chance at the bonus. We managed it last time.. just about!

4. Protasiewicz, Peter K, Sadler, Allen. 4-2, 17-7 Olly led from the start but just wasn't quick enough. Peter made a terrible start but got past Sadler on the 3rd lap.

5. Havelock, Andersen, Max, Howe. 5-1, 22-8. Best race of the day so far. Havelock from the start... Andersen clatters into David on 1st bend, it looks like he will fall but he recovers. Andersen, Mikael and David ride 4 laps almost side by side... but Andersen just gets the verdict on the line.
We're not gating, and it's the same old story... the home riders have their bikes set up perfectly and have much more speed than we do. Don't know if you caught the televised meeting from there... Chris Louis said everyone has this problem at Peterborough, it is such a tough track. He said he has gone with two different set ups and neither has worked!

well it looks like the team feel as contemptuous about the fixture as we fans do! CVS not impressing me at all - but then thats nothing new. I think the pit crews at the GP are equally unimpressed!

But surely weve ridden there enough now and PK was once a Panther so the riders should have some idea of set ups by now

come on boys, I really hoped you would prove me wrong. I dont buy this reason that were never set up for the Peterborough track, the boys should have an idea by now after all weve got pk(panther for 1 year),track specialist(!!??) in Sam and ex panthers Olly and David. Why cant we dio better then?
