freddie mikeal a.dryml P.K
wolves pair led until the very last turn on the very last lap. freddie and mikeal led for all of the race until mikeal was passed by Dryml and p.k on the last bend.
very unlucky for the wolves who deserved more than just the bonus point.

Not a bad result. Well done to the lads. All chipped in with points tonight. Mikeal must be gutted losing to both on the last bend. He seems to be struggling a bit at the moment where as in Poland he is flying, strange. Freddie is flying at the mo so hopefully bodes well for the rest of the season.

Even with the tactical in heat 7 we still would have lost by one point so at least we will sleep tonight with relative ease

He seems to be struggling a bit at the moment where as in Poland he is flying, strange. . Not when you consider he rides in their version of the Premier League, as does PK. Great result, shame we never took all 3, but we are getting better each away trip and with Freddie at number 5, we should be stronger in heat 13's.

This is really disapointing, its allright saying they did well and deserved more but it doesn't get you points and we need some away points soon. When do we ride at Oxford because there could be a chance there

When do we ride at Oxford because there could be a chance there Thursday June 2nd However, they are set to drop Jesper B by all accounts and Bajerski is set to return to Poland again. Is this why Skornicki is coming to England ?

Thanks to all for supporting son of 8. he is only 12 and was desparate to do the updates tonight.
Another point for the wolves and we move on. That first away win can't be too far away.

freddie mikeal a.dryml P.K wolves pair led until the very last turn on the very last lap. freddie and mikeal led for all of the race until mikeal was passed by Dryml and p.k on the last bend. In a thrilling do-or-die effort to pass both Wolves Dryml actually passed Freddie too and led on the last bend, but Freddie found some extra speed to snatch the win on the line. All four were in contention right through the race, PK capitalising on Dryml's move forcing Mikael wide on the last corner. Hard, but totally fair racing.

Thanks very much to Charlie, son of 8 for a fantastic job of reporting last night. Anyone who has tried to do that job can tell you that it certainly isn't easy, so a terrific job mate, well done! There was some fantastic racing which at times was hard for me to describe to him. We were so desparately close in that last race... as Wolfgang said, all four riders were so close together and it was actually a move by Ales Dryml who squeezed through a tiny gap on the inside of Freddie going into the 3rd bend of the last lap that won the match for Peterborough. I think the team riding Mikael was shocked to find Ales there and hesitated allowing PK to take his chance and pass Mikael... then somehow Freddie beat Dryml on the run in to the line. A superb speedway race but I was absolutely gutted! We honestly deserved more than the bonus from this excellent Wolves performance. The delay at the start of the updates was because we had such a long queue outside the stadium... we didn't get in until around 7.45pm as they were coming to the tapes so I was late phoning through... Thanks again son of 8. ;D
