Just got back from monmore , Cant fault any of the team tonight Great nights entertainment on a superbly prepared track (makes a change from 2 seasons of slick tracks) Special mention for William Lawson who rode some sensible lines and was never off the pace and to Ronnie who pulled out a brilliant ride to defy Nicholls on his tac sub ride , it was strange to see Ronnie so far away from the kerb
Well done to everybody , bring on the Eagles next monday

Just got home, brilliant nights speedway - haven't enjoyed a meeting so much in a long long time. I have to be honest I was expecting a sound beating but so glad to be proved wrong. Excellent, excellent stuff. William Lawson, you are a STAR - I'm sure you will make the long journey home with a smile on your face Wasn't the crowd loud tonight Great stuff

this is my 4th year of speedway Is that all? ;D You have a bit to go then to catch up with me then,1963 was my first year and have been going ever since , and after seeing what was jokingly called speedway on Friday this made up for it. A truly brilliant night's speedway on a race strip made for racing and more importantly passing.

the annoucer who was from Bell Vue tonight did say he has just handed some dirt to take back with him back home lol Great performance by the guys, although what made me more confident on the evening was the news we had r/r for magnus. Great team performance from the guys.

The announcer was Brendan Kearney who used to announce for us for a couple of years in the early 90's. He was great cos he used to rip the p*** out of the opposition and their fans all night And he is much funnier than Porky

Sadly the PA system in the bar was far from good this week, several people complained but it never got much better. The commentators sense of humour was therefore lost on me, it was tough enough trying to catch the heat times and tactical ride announcements They even managed to nadger the lights up this week, switching them on for the racing and off when it ended, so not only couldn't you hear the results but you couldn't see to fill the program in I hope this was only a one off as it is usually excellent......................
