Thoroughly enjoyable meeting and I must mention Matt Wethers and Kevin Little who put in a tremendous effort and deserved more points. Hope they enjoyed themselves, I certainly enjoyed watching them

i agree a great meeting with some good racing. PK - can he be beaten?? MAGNUS - got better with each ride, is he turning the corner? seemed more upbeat about that on after match parade. RONNIE - absolutley blinding performance from the rocket. FREDDIE - very fast BILLY - looked good and rode some good lines when obviously not as fast as kylmakorpi in particular LITTLE - great effort. WETHERS - sign thid guy!!! said he loves it here after match too!!
arena MAX - looks low on confidence TACEY - poor LANHAM - plugged away without making much effort JOHNO - a wolverhampton performance. welcome back - NOT KYLMAKORPI - fast but had to give way to our top end BRUNDLE - out of his depth HURRY - amongst the points and did as expected from reserve.

That wasn't too easy of a win, eh! Thought we were going to lose for a minute there

I saw Maggie on when I was walking out the stadium tonight and said 'well done'. He seemed so happy that someone had recognised this.
Sign that the guy appreciates the support.

Hope they enjoyed themselves, I certainly enjoyed watching them Can i just add to that that is how a speedway meeting should be ridden.............a real TEAM effort, all 7 riders contributing! Great to see Matt Wethers back in gold and black, can we sign him as our no8 NOW!...............and Kevin Little was worth at least 6 points, good luck to both those guys for the rest of the season

It takes two teams to provide such excellent entertainment, so credit all round. I apologise for underestimating Matt Wethers; he was as thrilling as in his Conference days. Little and Wethers both played their parts in full, and showed that decent unsung Premier League riders are just as good as some hyped-up-but-mediocre Elite League men like Johnston, Hurry and Lanham.
I think what impressed me most about last night is that all seven Wolves found ways of passing the opposition. In most meetings, not just at the Green, only some riders dial into the track, and you find yourself looking forward a few heats to what might be a good race, but last night nearly every heat contained some genuinely exciting racing.
Fantastic stuff all round.

Yep, agree with all that Wolfgang. Terrific racing from all members of the team and lots of passing. I was a little worried about this meeting when I saw the original line ups with so many opponents with track knowledge and points to prove but none of the threats materialised and of course the enforced changes weakened Arena more than Wolves in the event.
Well done to all seven Wolves riders. Let's keep the momentum going for Wednesday evening.
Thanks to '8' and Mark for the Live Updates.

great stuff from the reserves, really enjoyable racing from the guys thanks to them for stepping in. Great nights racing, lots of passing, arn't we blessed here at the green for a great thrilling track. we see more passing in a few meetings than other tracks see in a season. Good team effort, and seems a good atmosphere in the camp, freddie back to form, magnus looking more agressive, Ronnie great stuff, take it he must have been on water again last night PK and BILLY as expected great stuff

Ronnie was amazing last night, and the reserves didnt half make some noise amongst the crowd. Was good to see Magnus make a pass on not one but two riders. Freddie looked a lot better, performing like he does at so many away tracks. Billy and PK top notch, can't fault them - seems like when our 2nd strings ride to their potential and our 3 heatleaders only drop 4 points between them were going to be very strong. Imagine if we'd of had Hef and William/Ben! and yes sign Mattie Wethers as NO 8
