Great stuff, just got home and had to re-live the win on here. It was just as nail biting at the track, a strange meeting where by heat 15 I don't think either side had a rider who they were confident could go out and win it. Christian was superb but had kind of run out of steam by that point. In the end, ironically, after so many away matches lost in the last heat it had to be a guest who actually won one for us.
Felt sorry for Arena tonight. Joonas' freak injury was the final straw in a dreadful week for them. They were very sporting in defeat, gave us a lap of honour, interviewed the riders and Ronnie Russel congratulated the side on a good win. No excuses from the home side despite their problems. But we had problems of our own - Chris Louis did an excellent job replecating PK's score but William would have scored many more than Daniel Giffard. We needed a bit of luck to break the away duck and finally we got it.
A cracking night and thanks to Lawt, Oteresu, the Piefamily, Steph and all on the back straight for a great night. Oh, and an away win helps a lot too. ;D

I'll add my thanks to all the Wolves fans on the back straight and also to the team for finally nailing down what we have been threatening to do for the last few away meetings - win one!
Fantastic feeling to come away from the track and be talking about a win at last and at a place where no other team has managed it so far this year, and with an under-strength side too. Brilliant!
Thanks to MM2 and Otoresu for the light-hearted chat and company on the journey and especially to Otoresu for the accompaniment to Elton John while she slept (only joking). The return journey seemed to go very quickly because we were such happy little bunnies. Also thanks to Lupus for managng to do a cracking job on the updates alongside tucking in MiniLoop and saying 'night night'.
I'll write the report tonight but I think the updates tell the story better than I ever could.

Great result. The irony of being in London for two days without a car. I looked into getting from the west end out to Arena using public transport.....a bit of a longshot!
Well done the Wolves.
