Half a pint is some risk. It's from Islay - where all the best whiskey comes from.
And, this is where it gets exciting, a new brewery has just opened on the island. First bottlings called Worts 'n Ale. Damned fine it is too.

I am sitting next to my husbands collection of miniature whiskies, he has a Bruichladdich - I should have recognised the name

Ardbeg. That's the one to get him this Christmas, Jasper.
Although a cask strength Port Ellen 1978 is possibly the best thing I have ever drunk. Last one i bought was £125 though.
