Well, a lucky break with Adams, but we fail to capitalise. Makes heat 12 critical It was......................... Game over

Wolves must've heard it's Labour Day, Rob... They sure are making hard work of it! Aren't they just? Can't believe it's Korneliussen. Match winner, as "8" says. Blown our play off chances completely - to round off the day, someone will tell me that Coventry has won at Reading....

HOME reserves 5 points
AWAY reserves 17+1 points.

Wolves perform number 24 in an ongoing series of 'How to mess up the first turn.'
Magnus almost comes fifth.

2 5-1s and a 4-2 for the bonus; 5-1 and 2 4-2s just for the win; Adams with two rides left. We can go join Andre Agassi in the post-match bar....

Did someone mention a drink?
I have a nice (large) bottle of Worthington's White Shield fresh from six months cellaring.
Adams very determined and fast in 13. FREDDIE gets close but not close enough.

BILLY busts a gut to get past Richardson but overcooks it on the last lap and slides off. Mention for William Lawson, the ONLY competetive second string tonight. RONNIE tries hard but WILLIAM is the future.

RONNIE tries hard but WILLIAM is the future. I'll take your word for it on William. 11 points from 4 riders is simply not good enough. Shame, as a win tonight would have kept the playoffs wide open. Never mind, there's always the Craven Shield...

So when we need a TEAM performance, once again half the team go AWOL. Glad I decided to save the cash and time and watch that disgrace on tele. 11 points from the second strings and reserves is not good enough. I would have thought Christian would have been on cloud 9 after the u21 final and been full of confidence but that was poor when we needed him. And Magnus - back to the Magnus of the start of the season.
And even worse is watching the idiot Rossiter being smug.
Goodbye play offs. Season over.

Mention just from Rossiter that there has been a protest/complaint before tonight's meeting from Wolves. Presumably about Miedzinski not riding.
Peter Adams says we can still do it. What else can he do?
(Tell the truth?)
