Good move by hansen on lap 2 to get third. Heat 4 to be rerun after unsatisfactory start. Boxall pushing all the way in fourth. Stevebrum impressed by Aces start. Looks a good meeting at Peterboro, 30 apiece against Ipswich. Swiderski (passed Andersen in ht 1) on a max. (Courtesy live updates). Swiderski seems to have started the season on fire. I remember one point over the winter when he seemed to be a possibility for the Wolves.

I have also been impressed by Ales' start to the season. I was sceptical, but am coming around...

Screen excluded after falling on lap 2. Close to Freddie but no contact.
Perfect demonstration of team riding in rerun.......
against a rider half a lap behind!
Klindt safe third in 7 until he has a big wobble. Track very slick; passing at a premium.

Tonight's beer tasting: Hook Norton's Double Stout. 4.8 abv. Bitter chocolate, dry and background sweetness. This is a quality beer. If you like stout, get some of this.

It's pleasing to see everyone scoring some points. I'm not coming to a live match until it warms up a bit!

Crump on a tactical double in 11.
Boxall replaced jankowski in 10.
Great win in 11 for DAVID.
Interval now on.

It's pleasing to see everyone scoring some points. I'm not coming to a live match until it warms up a bit! Agreed. We have only had three 0s so far out of 11: it augurs well for the season. And yes, Ales Dryml looks like he could be a very astute signing.

Peterboro win 47-43: Swiderski 14! Interesting to look at the scorers - peteboro look top heavy but Ipswich have a balanced look to them with all 7 chipping in. Will Swiderski score as many again this season, though?

Ah well, pack away the Gemma Craven Newsround shield for another year, and think of these four matches as dusting off the cobwebs for a mammoth assault on the league title. Certainly some positives to be taken...yes???

I think so. Track very slick but there is some reason for optimism compared to recent years. Poole next week in the league, we will know more this time next week.
Thanks to Stevebrum for the news and to all on here for the company.
