A more respectable result than I imagined. Thanks Wolfie and '8' for the updates and to the rest of the bunch for the company (even though I had to do most of the talking ) ;D Night night

Heat 14.. we are 9 points down and our tactical genius makes no changes, even though we've got Hansen and Hefenbrock in the race.
WHY DID HE NOT PUT FREDDIE IN OFF 15??
It matters not that Woodward was in the race, the fact is we could not win the meeting any other way. How would the plank explain it if Woodward had broken down and Gustafsson fell? These things do happen, look at the Cov V Belle Vue meeting when Harris and Janniro both had bike troubles when well clear in 1st and 2nd.
If there's a chance to still win a meeting, even if its only 1% then we should go for it. Utterly pathetic if we do not.

Very good point BWitcher, and of course you are right. I don't suppose TG even thought about it. Either a good comeback from Wolves who adaped to the track and made the score look respectable, or Eastbourne eased up when the match was won. Either way, another match that was dead as a contest after a few heats with no bonus point to race for.

Agreed Mr X. The comeback was in essence pointless.
Those who travelled would previously have come aware satisfied at the fightback as it would have given us an outside shot at the bonus.

Enjoyable meeting! Heat 1, 12, 13 and 15 were top stuff. Cameron Woodward was awesome. Freddie had 1 duff ride, but the rest he either won or was on the chase. David had 2 great rides, 2 not so great. Niels was lively and rode with a lot of heart. Christian deserved an extra ride in heat 14, but we left the two Danes who were quite frankly Pish lastnight. Ales had one great ride.
