This is getting ridiculous now with Woffinden. Something seriously amiss.

2012 - Of the current team I'd take Freddie and Tyson as a double upper. Rest I would rebuild.

I'd take Proctor too given his average. If he can double up to kick start him again, could pay off.
Bring back Skornicki. Team rides so much better when he is in it. Although, he has just broken his collarbone..

Peter Adams is hinting that there could be further changes when new averages come out.
Also says that Tai was very ill tonight and had no strength.. reason he was struggling so much...

Do we have the new averages and what options this would give us?

Peter Adams says he 'hasn't seen them' and they are due out in 2 days.
Bit worrying, you would think he would know what they are!
Think we're waiting to see how Sam & Jan O go tomorrow before making our big moves. ;D

Although, he has just broken his collarbone.. I think the time has come to start looking forward rather than back. There is no doubt that Adam has been very popular at Wolves and done very well in recent years but personally I think it would be a backward step to think about bringing him back into the team other than as cover just for this year. We need to start looking for fresh faces. Proctor has lost it and needs to be replaced - whether its confidence or bikes he just isn't fast enough. Woffinden increased his average falls per meeting figure - I know what Adams said about him not feeling well but they must be quite worried about him as he seems to have joined the group that are going backwards rather than forwards. A really frustrating night - given the fact the Pedersen struggled until late on and our reserves scored reasonably well we should have won quite easily on aggregate. Wolfie

Something I meant to include in my earlier post.........
They seem to have lost the plot with track preparation.
As the meeting wore on, and this applies to the last couple of meetings too, they are leaving the insides of the bends bare with hardly any dirt on them.
To me this seems very strange when you have PK in heat 13 and often in heat 15 who is one of the best riders ever in cutting back under riders - to me this partly explains why he has not done so well recently late on at home as there is no dirt for him to use on his favourite cut back line.

I've said this many times before..
Wolves struggle in such conditions. And its no co-incidence that riders like Dryml succeed.
As for Skornicki, its not a backwards step to have success.
His mere presence in the team is a massive lift to the others. We only have to look at the teams results with him in.. as opposed to those when is out.

To credit Adam as being the sole reason for our success in certain years is pushing things a little. There have also been years when he has been part of the team that we have struggled, notably 2001 when we finished bottom but one. Wolfie

Of course he is not the 'sole reason'.
But he has been an integral part of the success in recent seasons and we are a better 'team' with him in it than out. He wasn't a very experienced rider in 2001 and a lot less outgoing.
