A win is always good; however, I don't care right now: concern for Freddie is paramount. Broken bones are one thing, head injuries are something else! Let's hope things aren't serious... All the best, Fred!

Nothing since PA on radio WM after the meeting. He was in a bad way when they first got to him. Regained conciousness. Sent to resus unit at hospital. They hope its good news that he wasn't immediately sent to the QE at Birmingham, the specialist head injury centre.
We can only keep our fingers crossed. Andrew is spot on, head injuries are always worrying, don't really give a toss about speedway results compared to somebody's health and we all love Fred.

I couldn't have said that better myself, Mark! Prayers for Freddie tonight... Let's hope there is very good news soon.

Now we know Fred is on the mend, which is by far the most important thing, it has to be said - what a fantastic performance last night. You have to take into account not only the loss of their number one, with only the reserves to cover, but the effect his shocking accident would have had on his team mates. To put all that aside and still win the meeting was nothing short of heroic. Superb result Wolves.
