I think Pecyna is a revelation at the moment. I'd have put money on him being replaced after 12 matches even a couple of weeks ago but there's no way he'll be dropped now is there? Sometimes promoters take a bit of a gamble and sometimes it pays off. Pecyna strikes me as a rider who will be just as comfortable at 2 or 4 as he is at reserve due to his gating. Ronnie at reserve strengthens us and gives us options. We do not have a 000 rider in our team. Funny really, after the Ipswich debacle it was easy to fear the worst. Now, things are looking better. I won't get carried away, but who knows? Other teams don't look quite so formidable after the last week's results. We didn't get anywhere near Poole last year (at their place) but tonight we very nearly won. the bonus was easy. And Poole are favourites for the title?

Hi all
Thanks once again for some wonderful updating, really excellent. Only come on line late becuase of working, but you all kept me entertained and well informed.
So once again well done, and thanks.
The match, well once again a little disappointed. We were well served by an excellent new reserve, I do not think anyone would have figured he would have done so well, brilliant. We were also lucky that Poole reserves were a bit off, I think we all know they could have done so much better.
Therefore once again the reserves have proved how their performance can alter and determine the outcome of the results.
Well done to all the Wolves, keep it up.
Thanks to all of you online as well.

I agree, we are lucky that the reserves are doing it especially Magnus, everyone has to be impressed by him, If ever (and it will happen again) the reserves have an off night we will get thrashed, last night our reserves got 15+1 compared to Pooles 1 obviously this is what made it so close. Wolves fans will be pleased with this result but we do need our second heat leader/ third heat leader to be scoring more points than this.

I was hoping we wouldn't have a repeat of last October's meeting at Poole and I was not disappointed. The team pulled out the stops and went for Poole big time. I was always confident of the one league point but we so nearly added to it. Full details will be in the report - coming soon. As ever, but even more emphatically, proud to be a Wolf last night. Also proud to know '8' whose father took such an active role in the D Day landings. I took my in-laws to the beaches three weeks ago and we stood on Omaha for quite some time considering what it would have been like. It was impossible to conjure up the horrific scenes that he must have been a part of. Very grateful to him and all his comrades for their selfless actions. Finally, and in much more light-hearted fashion, I can't believe that no-one mentioned that Baden-Powell (I've never been sure of him ) started the Scout movement on Brownsea Island in Poole harbour.
