Comments, rebukes, enquiries, quirky facts, exhortations, moans, groans, cheering, and beery asides.
Yes, it's monday night at Monmore via the internet.

Just about to set off for the Green and noticed the team line ups '8'. Is Kylmakoorpi definitely riding? Hope not!!

Evening all. Based on the Dribbles hopeless Monmore form, and the fact that Sam usually falls off when he's trying too hard, I'm expecting a Wolf win tonight, with at least a paid minimum for Paul Lee.

Track looks good with plenty of dirt. Weather is clear and all is set for a good meeting.
Duchy Summer Ale is the beer under starters orders.

Ronnie excluded under two minute rule after electrical problems with his cutout. Magnus in as replacement so Lukas is the odd one out in heat 1!

Hi 8, yep, I'm with you on the home win, expecting c. 54-40. Would still like to see PK and Sam do well

Pk gates with Mikael and Magnus tucked in. Dryml drops off and race is stopped with his exclusion.
So it really is the karlsson Championship now.

PK by a long way. Magnus nearly hit the first turn first but Pk hit the inside and was gone.

Heat 2 from the gate but Pecyna looks uncomfortable on turn two.

Easy for Freddie in 3. Johnno stuck at the back. Krysz unlucky in 4 when he picks up a puncture when lying second to David, who is looking fast.

Freddie gates in 5 as PK goes for the dirt, overcooks it, slides off and is excluded.
Easy 5-1 although Johnno looks less than convincing.
The Summer Ale is a definite heat winner.
the beer under two minutes now is St Austells HSD. Known locally as High Speed Diesel.

I'm back - lost my internet connection, but have managed to connect to next door neighbour's wireless network (he doesn't use security on it), until mine comes back. Interesting, so far

Easy 5-1 in 6. Sam nearly hits the fence on turn two. Kylmakorpi as TR in 7.

Kylmakorpi gates but David rides a tight turn two, finds the drive and hits turn three in front and pulls away. He is looking good tonight. Magnus is not far behind in third.
Track is drying out quickly and is pretty slick around the inside third of the track.
