The cellar is replenished so we should have a good night tonight watching the Wolves win their first away meeting of the season (hopefully).
Should be a few more to talk to tonight: I have been getting a little lonely the last few mondays!
Wasn't Oxford away one of the forum classics last year?
Speak to you all later.

Hi 8,
Thanks for doing the updates for this one, mate. I'll be compiling the match report on the laptop while watching this but I'll drop in during the breaks to see how it's going.
According to tonight's Express and Star, Iversen is riding tonight. Missed Poole away last night as he was riding a Danish League match.

can they do that? surely that is none the less worse then mikael and magnus having their plane cancelled! fair enough they used a junior at poole, but if hes not riding tonight, is that because of a ban, or can't get back in time? i think we'll find he'll be there now!

Well after a spell in the wilderness, I am back for tonight's updates, and to keep "8" company. Very much hoping for a Wolves win, but still requiring treatment for my perennial pessimism...Oxford by 4 (assuming NKI doesn't ride). Oxford by 8 if he does. Rob

Hi Rob. Programme hasn't started yet so still unsure about Oxford's line-up. After my cross channel dash the beer in heat 1 is Petrus Tripel: a product of the Bavik brewery in West Flanders. You really wanted to know that, didn't you?

Iversen is NOT riding and Oxford go as the line-up on the result thread.

Tatum's track report seems to suggest the surface is going to be 'interesting'. Outside line looks deep, inside looks slick. Could be patchy, inconsistent.

I don't know why I'm getting excited. Oxford rarely starts on time - in fact, they invented that memorable slogan: "make it a date, Thursday at somewhere after eight, when we get around to it, and then drag it out until well nearly 10pm"

Oxford on 1 and 3. they gate for a 5-1 but MIKAEL rides a clever line and drives under Mcgowan on second lap.
Heat two to be rerun. We gate superbly and gustafsson rides straight into the fence. He is excluded.

Magnus wins by a mile. Bajerski is second but hasn't put his fuel on so Pecyna passes him for a 5-1.

Awful start from our boys in 3. Johnno gets a shove from Makovsky and then freddie is all over him for two laps but just can't get past.

And this is what I was worried about, JBJ and Makovsky having a good night
