I am SOOO glad I saved myself £80 and stayed at home tonight! That performance is not deserving of my support!!!!!!! It seems only Freddie and the reserves can come out of this one with any credibility...

Spot on Andrew! Mikael, Johno and to a lesser extent Ronnie (his was mostly mechanical) should hang their heads in shame!!!!!

Pecyna thoroughly deserved his ride in 15. He had ridden well all evening: was gating and was clearly faster than anyone else on our team apart from Freddie. Mikael looked pretty unhappy in the pits, he doesn't need anyone to tell him how he cost us tonight. Lindgren was awesome but his inexperience caught him out in 15 when Jensen purposely moved. They were obviously worried. Have to say the track was fair: it was c*ap for both teams. Freddie will learn from this and Kryzs was excellent.

What a shame I agree the only 3 riders who deserve any praise Freddie 5*/Krzysztof his gating tonight was second to none in the wolves team & Magnus again solid team effort. We only needed a couple of heat wins from the other 3 and we would have won this one. 3 points at the Green next Monday with a full team effort needed.
Once a wolf always a wolf

All I can say is thank god we lost by more than 1 point because Kryzs would have taken some very unfair criticism over heat 8. At least he looked like he was trying which is more than can be said for Mr Max!!!

I've calmed down a tad now! I KNOW Pecyna deserved the ride in 15 but if I were PA I'd have kicked Mike's backside out there and said - DO YOUR JOB! Apologies to PA for the 'idiot' comment - on THIS occasion it was out of order! I'm just sooooo annoyed that we threw away what should have been an easy 2 points. They were two riders down before the meeting started and then lost Henka after his first ride. Those points were painted Gold and Black!!!!!! Still never mind - unless they do something drastic, at least Arena will save us from the Wooden spoon!!!!!!

At one point my remote control sailed towards the tv screen, but unfortunately the director switched off a picture of Mikael Max 'tootling' along behind.
A rider of Mikael's ability can have NO excuses after a performance like that against opposition of that calibre.

I guess in retrospect that Pecyna deserved the ride in heat 15... but the meeting was lost as soon as we'd nominated him. The guy rode really well but never had a chance of beating Hancock or Jensen. AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!

No matter how well KP rode, he shouldn't be expected to go out in 15 to win the match for us. Loop - you were right to call PA an idiot, don't fawn to the guys who gave us Max + no heatleaders instead of MK and PK. PA should, as was suggested, have booted max up the royal Swedish behind and told him to go out there and do the business. Jensen would have had far more to worry about with heatleaders in the race, not reserves, and may not have moved at the start, as he eventually did
And before all the cries of get JBJ back in the Wolves team - that was his first decent score of the season - take a look at his average, less than 5 I think. He is the answer no more than DH or Skornicki is.
I'm incredibly disappointed that we couldn't beat this 5 man team tonight. Johnno, Micky and Ronnie - you should be ashamed.
Finally, KP, terrific score, great for his confidence, and encouraging for us.
Thanks "8" for updates
Rob

I don't think Johhno should be ashamed, and to a certain extent Ronnie shouldn't be either.
They had bad nights, as said elsewhere, only the 4th time in 15 matches that Johnno has scored less than 6 pts. I think he is entitled to an off night, after all, he is nothing more than a 6pt rider anyway.
That match was lost due 1 to person and 1 person only, thats your No 1 who returns 5*1 from 5 rides. He is the one who should be ashamed, its the 6th time in 14 meets that he has failed to score double figures. Appalling for a No 1.
If folk wanted team changes, then there is the person who should feel most under threat.
