Don't see why we should only have numbers.

B SamuelE: I think PK was replaced at Poole but we were never given the benefit of the name of the replacement as he was also excluded under the two minute rule. I reckon it must be the replacement who was not replaced and not PK (who was replaced by the replacement who was excluded!!) who will record a zero. Gottit? Good! ;D

Just using this place in testing to post all results during the season to compile averages for all matches.
Wont fit them all on one post, so will modify posts as and when required.
Then these can be posted or used when reuired

2 minutes exclusions never count in riders averages whether the rider is replaced or not. Tape exclusions count as a ride but never 2 minute exclusions. The only place it does count as a ride is for the minimum ride rule. So therefore KP could not be replaced for his 2nd exclusion at Peterborough as he must be deemed to have 3 rides. This makes sense if you think about it, otherwise a team could get an out of form rider excluded 4 times to bring in a reserve. The official rule on these double points rides is that for average purposes the "from the gate" tactical rides count as their normal points, i.e. 3-2-1-0. Tactical Sub rides (from 15 metres) are discounted altogether in official averages. Sorry, I'm a bit of a train spotter where stats are concerned!

If a rider gets excluded in say heat 14 under the 2 minute rule and that is his third ride then he CANT be replaced as this counts as his third ride. Therefore as it counts as his third ride, it also counts as a ride in his averages.
