Another very close run thing. We should be looking at some three points from the home legs of these recent journeys. Just wish we could nick one. Well done though and thanks to MM2 and better half for bringing us the scores. Au Revoir.

Thanks for the updates Lupus, enjoyed them. Good result from the boys, given Billy's obvious dislike for the place since last season. Great score from Christian. Bonus should be ours Have fun, see you Monday

Great effort from the team. We are getting so close at some of these away tracks. Let's hope we will sneak a win or two before too long.
Many thanks to Lupus and MM2 for the updates. It feels VERY weird to be on this side of things.
Safe journey home to all of the travellers.
See you all on Monday after we get back from Sweden - watch for us on the telly on Saturday!

Hi Folks,
I'm sure the track was so slick because of the weather conditions. It seems we were very lucky, came through some torrential rain just a few miles from the track. For once the wet stuff managed to miss Blunsdon Hill.
This was, without doubt the world's most windy speedway match. At times I thought I was on the set of Wizard of Oz. We had to tie Sugababe down as she kept blowing off the hill on the 2nd bend. I had to hide behind the stand to phone the updates through. Did I mention how windy it was? Every now and again we had a sandstorm as the wind picked up the dust off the junior track and blew it straight into our faces. The riders kept going wide looking for dirt on the 1st bend or it may just have been the wind. Did I mention it was windy? It was very windy.
Good performance, Christian excellent, really loved the track. Very close yet again, I wish we could pinch a couple of these away matches... surely we can't be far away from a win?

Good performance as Mark said, but I can't help thinking we threw this meeting away tonight. We lost a certain 5-1 in Heat 4 when Billy got into a mess.
PK and Billy seemed to get in each others way in Heat 13 allowing Richardson through into 3rd.
And most importantly.. why did Christian only have 5 rides?? This is an area where we NEVER seem to take advantage of. How many times do we see teams come to Monmore with an on-song reserve and they take 7 rides.
Christian should have been in for Ronnie in Heat 10 and then Lawson in Heat 12.
