OH DEAR!!!!! bad news of heat 13. to be fair the gang couldnt see from where they were if pedersen did what pedersen does best but how you can exclude a rider who was taken wide i dont know. LAWT says that hopefully a deal has been done to get a copy of this match on DVD - so there may be chance to view the evidence for ourselves. Expect an announcement from the main man. Well double bad news for us all then today, sorry i couldnt bring you the news we all wanted. A minor miracle on monday anyone? thanks for contributing folks steve

6 lasts to 9 lasts....but 14 heat wins to 1. All Sparrows at least paid for a win. Very poor performance from ALL of the Wolves, with only Billy really doing what was expected (just), and a sidenote to recognise PK's injury.
17 points is too big a mountain to climb on Monday. And it's just started to rain here. I'm not moving in case anything else goes wrong.
Thanks to stevebrum for updates, and to all for the rather subdued company on here.
Craven Shield anyone?
PS. LOL to the end of season ad above. The only bright spot in an increasingly dull day.

My day has just been topped off by looking at the score and listening to ''its only a game'' coming from the nearest woman (never say that it only makes it worse) We had a chance to make a change and go for it this year, yet again we are too loyal and will suffer for it

three months of the season to go and our season is over.once again the management have come up short. if peter adams is not retiring until he has ten league titles he will be a very old man at this rate. where has the ambition gone of ten years ago. peterborough started from scratch and have built the most attractive side in the country and yet they are struggling to get people through the turnstiles. despite having a winning team they have gone out and brought in new riders to improve their chances of success. it was clear in the first month that magnus had lost is confidence and he should have been replaced while his average was higher as we could have signed a new four point foreigner. after the shambles last wednesday and tonights result what excuse is mr adams going to give us on monday.

None he will insist that the season is still alive and slam the critics

We don't aim high enough any more. Once, we aspired to be at the top of the table. Now, we regard securing a play-off place as a success. Our ambitions, our expectations, are lower. Too often, we're beaten before we even take to the track. This has been the case for several seasons.
Frankly, a solitary winner in 15 heats - in any match - is simply not good enough. There may be no excuses (again), but there should be an explanation.

I think we can forget any hopes of a win tomorrow as well, this is the first time Eastbourne will be here at full strength, we've had an almighty struggle to beat them in the last two matches when theyve had riders out.
