Only positive tonight is Magnus. MM2 says he has looked a different rider.
Thankfully it is Swindon next week.
Heat 15: PK, Freddie, Shields, Pedersen

Still, 5 heat winners, we really shouldn't be complaining, should we?

At least PK won 15. Sorry I couldn't bring better news.
Thanks to MM2 for the bad news and to friends on here who suffered with me.
Same time next week? We're on the telly again!

Heat 9 and the meeting comes alive. Guess who's involved? We actually gate and Pedersen is third. He goes under RONNIE on 3/4 and takes him right out to the (in) fence. Ronnie stops and just stays on. Meanwhile Freddie is out in front. then Woodward comes off at the back. Ronnie is furious and there is a confrontation with Pedersen which involves Ronnie attempting to headbutt him. It carries on in to the pits. The referee (Margaret Vardy) gets involved via the phone. I saw it clear as day and it was pedersen who tried the headbutt

Yes, it was definitely Pedersen who attempted to headbut Ronnie as they rode over the startline after the race had been stopped. I'd imagine he'd get a fine for that one, though its pretty pointless when both riders are wearing helmets. Not the brightest spark is he? Apologies for the confusion, its very noisy on the terraces and Martin obviously misheard me. As for the rest of the meeting, mmm, well.

Yes I agree it was definitely Pedersen. Ronnie was pointing angrily at him and Pedersen tried to head butt him as they crossed the start line - clear as day, no mistake, it was Pedersen. It was replayed enough times on the monitor. Rumour in the bar at the end of the meeting was that Pedersen had been fined £250

Maybe Margaret is not so bad after all.
Ronnie was perfectly within his rights to remonstrate with Pedersen after he had been shoved out almost into the dog kennels. Pedersen then has no right to drop the nut and should receive a ban for it as well as a fine. If he and Ronnie had tangled and he had felt aggrieved then it could possibly be understandable but that was not the case. Ronnie was a bystander and was roughed up and reacted verbally. Pedersen responded physically in cold blood - it deserves an immediate and decisive reaction from referee. If it was most other sports he would be removed from the game for physical abuse to another participant.

Yes, NP showed his true colours again tonight, a dangerous rider who takes no prisoners. Whats a £250 fine to someone like him?? a drop in the ocean. If this clown ever rides for Wolves again I'll hang me programme board up!!!

I didnt think Nicki was too bad last time they came, he seemed a lot calmer. but tonight he was definatly back to normal. he should have all his points taken away from him for the headbutt, maybe we would have gone close to winning if that happened, haha! maggie, a totally different rider tonight, didnt he do well in heat 14, SHields gave him a right knock going into the 1st bend and still came out infront! did Freddie use him 1st engine in his other heats? he seems a fair bit slower after his 1st race. PK doesnt look fully fit, nor does Lawson. thats the excuses i have to offer, anyone agree?

Bring in the Red card. Nicki Pedersen should have been thrown out for his headbutting tactics. Nicki Pedersen, what a *******************!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. What else can i say about last night. Some good racing but we were 2nd best again. Only real plus's for me was Magnus looked like he was really putting something into it & Ronnie. The rest were'nt at the races. PK looks below par but he may still be riding with injury. Was very dissillusioned on the long way home & thats unlike me with speedway.
