A straightforward, if not downright easy task tonight. 60 points and we're through. What can possibly go wrong?
More seriously, this Wolves team is capable of winning the tie tonight. But form is too inconsistent and too much is placed on the shoulders of too few.
If Eastbourne fancy it tonight they could even win.
We'll see. Speak to you later.
Teams confirmed: track has lots of dirt and has been watered a lot.
(Wet and deep in other words.)

Evenin' Martin
A real test of character for the Wolves tonight. Can they bounce back after two heavy away defeats?
I don't think there is any chance of progressing in the KOC; I'll be happy with a good home win. The Eagles have more than enough fire power to win tonight... That would really cement the current pear-shaped look to our season.

My money is on a marginal home win, but only just. Very disappointed with Saturday's events (with the exception of Hoddle) and hoping for a much improved performance tonight.
Failing that, I'll take a corker of a meeting, so that I can at least enjoy the DVD

Evening Rob, Andrew.
Heat 1 from the gate. Norris rode the white line and won it by inches.
Heat 2 is the new heat 8. That's all! Cracking race between all three placed riders.

So, a 4-2 in each of the last 13 heats and we'll be through comfortably....

Hi Wolfgang. Heat 3 rerun after Shields goes down on turn 1. FREDDIE makes a lightning start and is a clear winner .....until his bike stops on the last turn.

Fiendish luck for Freddie... I hope that not a sign of things to come.

Fiendish luck for Freddie... I hope that not a sign of things to come. Sadly, it looks like it WAS a sign of things to come

It gets worse. Billy slides off whilst trying to go round Pedersen. Magnus a safe third at the time. Hamill excluded and the rerun is predictable.
and worse still in 5. Freddie gets pushed wide and can't make up any ground.
PK on a TR in 6.
