Pre Meeting Update - 7.30pm from Lawt. Track is very wet. Not raining now and looks Ok though there is rain in the distance. Four blokes with shovels are moving wet shale onto the centregreen and laying fresh dry stuff on the middle of the track. The inside quarter of the track is wet, the middle half has dry shale laid and the oiutside quarter is absolutely sodden. Lawt reckons anyone heading for theb outside on bend two will come over the fence to join the Wolves fans! Crowd - about 300 max in the stand. 50 near the pits. Precisely 21 on the back straight! Due to be a 7.45 start.

Heat details.
1. Andersen, PK, Ostergaard, CHRISTIAN. 4-2 From the gate. HA's bike spluttered but didn't slow him down. Christian filled in at the back. Track wet but OK.
2. TRENT, MAGNUS, Hall(FX), Zabik(FX) 0-5, 4-7 Trent and Richard Hall battling for the lead. Zabik 3rd falls on 3rd bend, excluded. Rerun - Wolves gate for 5-1, Hall slides off on 1st bend, no attempt to clear the track. Excluded! I've just had Lawt's live commentary of the Wolves 5-0... we're a point up for the bonus now. ;D
3. Iversen, BILLY, Sullivan, RONNIE. 4-2, 8-9 Ronnie held Sullivan back for 3 laps but Ryan was too quick. Slight mistake from Ron and he was past on inside, 3L4B.
4. MAGNUS, Ostergaard, FREDDIE, Hall. 2-4, 10-13 Zabik withdrawn with groin injury. Bad - he's injured, get well soon. Good - we've got a better chance without him. Bad - he's in my fantasy league team. Complicated isn't it? Brilliant gate and easy win for MAGNUS! Freddie seems to have the wrong setup but manages to pass Hall for 3rd.
5. PK, CHRISTIAN, Iversen, Sullivan. 1-5, 11-18 From the gate. SUPERB ride from Christian to keep Iversen out for 4 laps. Brilliant stuff. Come on you Wolves!

6. Ostergaard, Andersen, FREDDIE, TRENT. 5-1, 16-19 From the gate. Poor start from Fred and he never got close. 7. Hall, HAMILL, CORREY, Sullivan (EF) 3-3, 19-22 Sullivan gates and leads. Brilliant ride from Hall out in the deep stuff and charges past Ronnie and Billy. 5-1 to Pbro... last bend Sullivan stops. Almost coasts home 1st but just falls short. 8. MAGNUS, Hall, CHRISTIAN, Ostergaard. 2-4, 21-26 Magnus gates and clears off! Great race between Hall and Christian who swap positions until Hall gets it on the last bend. 9. Iversen, FREDDIE, Sullivan, TRENT. 4-2, 25-28 Good, hard battle between Freddie and Sully for 2nd. Fred eventually pulls away and almost catches Iversen. 10. Andersen, BILLY, RONNIE, Ostergaard. 3-3, 28-31 Hans passes Billy at end of lap 1. Cracking ride from Ronnie, passes Ostergaard and holds him off for 2 laps. Billy's bike stops after the race. They are grading the track after every race to take dirt off the track. This must be a tactic requested by the home riders. Very unusual.

11. Andersen, PK, CHRISTIAN, Hall. 3-3, 31-34 Great ride from Christian who is all over the track to keep Hall at the back. Big celebration wheelie from Christian who has ridden excellently tonight. 12. Sullivan, RONNIE, Hall, MAGNUS. 4-2, 35-36 Home 5-1 for two laps. Looks all over but Ronnie produces a remarkable pass round the outside on Hall. Great stuff from the Rocket. 13. Iversen, Andersen, PK, FREDDIE. 5-1, 40-37 From the gate. Sod it! 14. Iversen, BILLY, Hall, MAGNUS. 4-2, 44-39 Billy leads for a lap but is passed by both home riders. Billy has a good battle with Hall and eventually grabs the 2nd place back. Magnus way behind 60/70 yards. Valiant effort from the Wolves but the home heat leaders have won the last 6 races. Our heat leaders have won 1 race out of 12. 15. Andersen, PK, BILLY, Iversen. 3-3, 47-42 Good ride from Billy to block Iversen. Fine effort but no reward. Lets hope we can win at Brandon tomorrow night. Thanks for following!
