great performance from the boys last night,a fair result me thinks.PK,Billy and Freddie were on the ball,Magnus once again(like last year)could have won it for us in Heat 14,but couldn't quite hold off Norris, who was vary aggresive, but fair in his move on Maggie.A point and the bonus was a great achievement, not having NP did help us,but that's not our fault.I was always confident of heats 13 and 15 being maximums. Note on leaving Arlington last night poor old Maggie was still in his kevlars tatting with his beloved Jawa engine assisted by a showered refreshed PK.Thats what i like to see....hope he can fix it as it's been working well for him of late. The scare of the night was none of the racing but watching PK push his machine back to the van.....Pete failed to look left as a HUGE BIG WHITE VAN was pulling away and suddenly had to break rather sharply to let a bespectled Swede cross over...Bless You Pete more points on Monday please. Hope all last nights travellers got home OK.Just to let you know the showers have arrived and I didn't do my 5 mile run as planned

Cracking result and thanks a lot to BBW who did a fantastic job relaying the updates from this and the Monday and Wednesday matches, and to Lawt who phoned me with a match report after both. Helped me with my speedway fix while on holiday in Perranporth! ;D
God I feel old now SamuelE has pointed out that Wolves team is 30 years old! I remember that side so well, I thought that was a brilliant season despite only having half a team and so many injuries. Finn Thomsen was an absolute hero that year, often taking 7 rides (in 13 heats) as we used RR all year.
Did anyone go to Swindon that year when he scored 20+1 (i think) from 8 rides in a 13 heat Midland Cup match? What a performance.

Many thanks to the Pie Family and Rangdo for these updates. What a great effort from the team last night. I was 'ecstatic in Anglesey' when both JFB and Mark Harvey rang through the news after the meeting (thanks to both of them). What a one to miss! Never mind, those two points do keep that little glimpse of opportunity open for us to sneak in and grab the last PO place.
A big lead against Poole on Monday will be very welcome. Does anyone know whether Christian has recovered sufficiently to be able to ride? I hope so.
Oh, and thanks to CVS for the opportunity to use the Poole rain-off tickets for this Monday's meeting. That's a great gesture.

Brilliant meeting last night, worth the 4hour drive there. ;D We all have headaches though from all the shouting and cheering! Roll on Monday.
