Still waiting to hear more on the track sitution from Lawt. Surely we won't see a repeat of the infamous "sun off" of a few years ago?

Hello everyone! Can we lighten things up tonight? Last night was awful Any interesting facts about Oxford? Anything new in '8's cellar? or maybe Wolfgang has planted something unusual in his garden this Summer ;D Lawt has given Kate a lift to Oxford and she left here clutching her Polish scarf Adam Skornicki, you have a lot to answer for Wolves to win by 8 No wonder there are a lot of online viewers if we are linked to the BSF, could we break the record tonight

8pm update...
2 minutes went on at around 7.50pm for heat 1. Announcement made that the 2 minutes would be cancelled as the riders wany more work to be done on the track. Nothing has happened since. Track is "dangerously deep" according to one of the riders. Riders from both teams are concerned about it. More when I get it...

Cambridge boat race 70 times Three time Olympic gold medal winner Matthew Pinsent rowed for Oxford in 1990, 1991 and 1993. In the history of the Boat Race there has been one dead heat. The judge on the finish ("Honest John" Phelps) was asleep under a bush as the crews raced past. When awakened and asked the result he said "Dead heat to Oxford by four feet"
