Details

Darren is sitting with coffee in bright sunshine at the track reading a paper. The fans are starting to arrive. I think he's trying to make me jealous that I'm not there

Fredrik Lindgren was the first rider to walk the track which is apparantly slick.

Number 17 is not at the track so only one reserve. Number 17 was Juha Hautamaki

Heat 1 - Massive crash for Zagar on his own whilst 2nd. Bike almost over fence. Ambulance straight away. Awarded

Heat 2 - Damian Balinski was less than 1 bike behind Christian. (Very Close!)

Heat 4 - Darren thinks both Christian and Fredrik have a very good chance today ;D

Heat 5 - Not the best gate and then hard to pass with narrow entry to turns.

Heat 6 - Ruts into turn 1 and out of turn 2

Heat 7 - To be re-run, Balinski fell because of rut on turn 1 whilst 2nd. Down for 3 minutes. Fredrik was leading

Heat 7 Re-Run - Fredrik was pushed wide by Bjerk and just stayed on his bike!! ( ) He caught and passed Klingberg on 3rd lap but Bjerk had gone (Bjerk's on my list!! )

Heat 8 - Track Prep now. Looks like Zagar has pulled out.

Heat 10 - From the gate. Fredrik all over Christian but Christian blocks to keep Fredrik in second place. Oh damn

Heat 12 - Interval now

Heat 13 - From the Gate, no passing.

Heat 14 - Great gate and Christian is easy leader into 1st turn. No challenge. Other 3 have their own race. Darren got a wave on the warm-down lap

Heat 16 - Kosciecha hits rut and collects Ferjan as both riders fall. Really nasty but both get up. Fredrik saw this coming and cut back to avoid the carnage - great decision!!! All 4 back - Darren's heart was in his mouth. Think what I must be like!!!

Heat 16 - Fredrik stays wide on long backstraight but Jablonski hits a rut and lifts. (Bloody Poles! ) Fredrik has to shut off and turn left. Chases hard but hits the same rut next time round and Darren says he had "Italy visions". Chance of heat win gone

Heat 17 - From the gate (Noticing a pattern? Gating and Ruts!! ) Fredrik was close but didn't really challenge. Miedzinski and Koroljovs way back

Heat 19 - Big lift off turn 2 and rut on last lap for Klingberg allows Jablonski to pass from 20 metres behind.

Heat 20 - Hefe gates but pressure all the way from Ferjan who passes Hefe on the run in to the line. Darren says bugger, I'm not that fussed
