Comments from the live updates thread, Lawt at Blunsdon.
Weather: Dry and misty.
Track looks quite good. Attendance Above average. Wolves fans few and far between.
1. Wolves win toss and take gates 2 and 4. Adams takes PK out wide on 1st turn.
2. Very easy 5-1 to Swindon. Track looks smooth but little grip.
3. Billy gates but Ulamek is soon past. Gjedde challenging Hamill when his bike stops on 3rd lap. Magnus well back with a sick sounding bike.
4. Freddie from the gate. Richardson slides off on 1st lap and remounts last. Theo's bike sounds flat.
5. Wolves 5-1 from the gate. Gjedde EF while last. On 3rd lap PK slides off at front - totally unexpected. Lawt not sure if he had a problem but he got up to collect the point. Maybe he thinks he's Sam?
6. From the gate, easy 5-1.
7. Ditto. Magnus more than a straight behind the winner!
8. Better effort from Wolves. David pushed hard at the front, Theo regained 3rd place.
9. Another easy 5-1 from the gate.
10. Magnus changes bikes - much better.
11. David (and not PK) nominated as a tactical. Richardson just gets the drop on the 1st bend. PK stays behind David.
12. Cracking ride from Billy. Lifts at gate but battles on 1st lap to the front. Theo in for Will and tries hard for no reward.
13. PK way behind at the back. Clearly has some sort of problem tonight, not sure what...
14. Errr, not much to say. Not a good night.
15. Hamill gets a roller, all 4 back! Robins go bob bob bobbin' in the rerun to a 5-1. Good team riding.

Well i don't think that'll be the best win they have at home by any means. Howe & Pijper looked impressive. PK was unlucky pushed out wide in his first race, fell (which is unlike him) in his second and had to stay behind Howe in his third. So he could of easily scored more than 2. Its not much confidence going to Reading tonight but at least they didn't score 60. And Swindon beat Reading at home by 18 and also away in the challenge match so it was to be expected really. Bonus points out of the question but it'll be interesting to see how they react on monday and tonight.

OK Assuming the old scale of ten points with six being the expected performance from each rider..... Peter: 3 - Way below expectations but there could have been many reasons. Gating was poor and he seemed to lack power and commitment. Not representative of PK so no need to worry. Should have done some laps at P & P . David: 8 - Much bettet than expected for his first league meeting and very encouraging. Got the nod for the TR on merit above PK, etc. Shouldn't have been beaten by Chrzanowski twice though. Billy: 7 - Disappointing to see Moore beat him easily but otherwise a reasonable performance. Could do better. Magnus: 4 - A poor debut in the 2007 EL for him. Not the first meeting he needed to persuade the fans that he was a sensible choice for number 4. Major responsibility for his crap meeting was his machinery which sounded flatter than a Bilston pint. He's got a very short time to get his decent gear up and running..... Freddie: 2 - Another disastrous start. It seems that several Wolves riders are using LEAGUE meetings to test and develop their equipment. This is not professional. Freddie was gifted his only win when Richardson fell off, and then did nothing but beat his team mates in his other three rides. Frankly pathetic. William: 4 - Never got to grips with his set up, or the track, or something. Theo: 7 - I knew he was a battler and he showed it. Happy with this performance and especially because it suggested that there was better to come as well. Man of the match I would award to David Howe for reaching higher above expectations than any other Wolf. However - he didn't have a lot of competition.
