Back again! Hopefully the weather in south Yorks is as good as it has been down here. Back online around 7.30ish.
The last time I saw Wolves at Sheffield Arnold Haley was riding. 30 years ago?

Good evening. My, my, doesn't time fly? Hardly seems like five minutes since the 2006 season ended. Hope you've all had a healthy winter - ours is still in full flow.
Arnold Haley....what a great signing for the Spoons he turned out to be! I'm pretty sure last time I saw Wolves at Sheffield, it was the Morans (gotta be better than Wyer, Wilson and Haley anyday)
C'mon the Wolves!

Did you not go in 96 SamuelE?
8/10 pts down (memory fading) midway through the meeting, before storming back to win by the same amount?
I remember George Stancl not scoring in his 1st 2 heats due to bike problems, then remaining unbeaten in his next 3.

Chinese people in Sheffield can be divided into two main groups, the local residents and the students. The local residents are largely scattered throughout the city with a relatively high concentration of the population living around and within the Sharrow area. The students live nearby and around the two universities and Sheffield Colleges. According to the 2001 Census, there were 2201 Chinese people in Sheffield. They have come from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore and other parts of Britain as well as born locally in Sheffield.

Tinsley Viaduct is a two-tier road bridge in Sheffield, England; the first of its kind in the country. It carries the M1 and the A631 some 1033 metres over the Don Valley, from Tinsley to Wincobank. It is located at 53‹25ŒN 1‹24ŒW...................and is more interesting than most other things in Sheffield!..........lol

I've changed the riding order, having just heard from Lawt. Weather fine, track looks fine with plenty of dirt.
Hello everyone: keep the facts coming!

Ahh good evening all-Sheffield,also home to 2 football league teams.Sheffield Utd,home Bramall Lane- one of only two grounds (the other being the Oval) which has hosted England football internationals and an England cricket test match in 1902 against Australia and a FA Cup Final Replay in 1912, when Barnsley beat West Bromwich Albion 1-0(hahahahah!!!) Sheffield Wednesday, home Hillsborough-The first game at Hillsborough was played on 2 September 1899 and ended in a 5-1 win for Wednesday over Chesterfield. The stadium was originally named Owlerton Stadium but in 1914 Owlerton became part of the parliamentary constituency of Hillsborough and the ground took on its current name.

You lot are bored aren't you!! personally, I'm just waiting for '8' to announce that the cellar is open ;D Open? I arrived home tonight to discover the cellar open and being ransacked! I had to go to the shops to maintain minimum stock levels. Beer : very low. Wine: down to last two dozen cases. This is a critical situation.
