Nice to get the win, the top three doing the jobs we needed them to do. Kaj Laukannen was in the Belle Vue selection in heat 15, even though he is not allowed to be there. Three top scorers are Doolan, Screen and Skornicki I thought he had 7 and Adam had 6?

Adam had paid 8. The referee was obviously suckered by the fact that Laukkanen was at 5 (which would have made him a heatleader last year) and Skornicki at 4. Sloppy work, ref

Here's an interesting fact about Belle Vue - Kirky Lane stadium was the venue for the first ever greyhound racing meeting in Britain.

Just in from Kirky..........superb effort from the lads tonight, however weak BV were this was NEVER going to be EASY! Doolan is in superb form, so much so that he will be riding as a heat leader, never mind a second string, before the seasons out if his form doesnt take a dip Billy absolutely awesome tonight, he looked genuinley quick, PK rode better there than I have seen him in 9 previous meetings, and Freddie looked much more at home after an awful first ride, and the reserves effort was not rewarded

I've just got home but I'm still on a high from winning!! ;D Brilliant evening. Really enjoyed tonight (apart from heat 4 ) The whole team performed quite well. The track could've done with some more dirt on it later on but it's Belle Vue so it's normal really Thanks to everyone there tonight for being great company and thanks to Ruth especially for holding the flag and to Lawt and Lupus for the choccies Roll on Monday!
