Why no 15 yard tac subs for Eastbourne? Because pedersen (great team man that he is) would not ride after heat 13 because he wasn't happy about the elastic starts.

Thanks very much for the updates. Well, it's a win I suppose, and I look forward to further comments on just how convincing. Until next time

If changes are really on the agenda then the next seven days are important. We now have two consecutive home meetings with Oxford and Belle Vue the opposition. I suggest we will learn nothing new in these meetings and need to act now if we are to try to improve things. This was a lopsided performance. FREDDIE was tremendous and DAVID rode with real commitment. BILLY did well and showed some aggression. PK seemed happy to stay third in 13/15. After that.......

I second your analysis, but my feeling is that after the last two wins, changes are now unlikely (just like in years gone by). As a result, I think we will flatter to deceive for the rest of the year, ultimately finishing just outside the play-offs (just like the last couple of years). Significant improvements in form for MK - when he moves back into the team on the next set of averages - and TP - when he moves back to reserve - are the only way we will make the play-offs this season. So c'mon boys, prove me wrong. PS. Well done Freddie tonight - clearly back to form after his engine adventures earlier this year

4 THEO PIJPER -0-0-1-1* =2+1 6 WILLIAM LAWSON -0-2-1-1*-2 =6+1 7 MAGNUS KARLSSON -1*-1-1-1* =4+2 Looks like a good night for these 3 riders. Look again - they didn't beat a single opponent in these races! Yes, I know you have to finish etc. but very flattering scores to say the least. A good illustration of our problems tonight. William has performed miracles for us but is going through a bad spell. Theo and Magnus look well off the pace at this level. Even PK barely looked interested tonight and seemed to be going through the motions - Sam was shocked by his heat 15 ride. I thought Freddie and David were excellent and Billy tried hard for his points. Typical Pedersen strop by refusing to ride in heats 14 or 15 with the match still theoretically winnable. Still, I'm sure we'll all welcome him with open arms next season. ;D Sky's expert commentators hadn't a clue about heat 14 - nobody even questioned the fact that Eastbourne didn't use the tactical ride. Only Peter Adams seemed aware it was a possibility! Thanks for the updates Mr 8 and to the Monday night update followers. I think I might be one of you on a fairly regular basis. ;D

Hi all, hope we can get a win tonight! Hello Steve - thought I would mention that we shared our table tonight with a couple of friends of yours - Dale and Neil Faccini (sp?) There was another lad with them but I'm not sure if he was a rider or not. Anyway we had quite a chat with Dale and I mentioned you and he was full of praise for you He seemed a nice quiet lad, lovely manners and very friendly. He says he is flying home tomorrow and riding on Wednesday Tonight he was shouting for Billy

Dale & Neil (and dad Fred) are very passionate about their racing. I have invested a lot of time into their progress, and even though Dale didn't qualify at Rye House on saturday I am proud that he got that far and put 4 points down. Next year he'll still be just 19 and hopefully will make it out of the qualifiers.
