Hi Beegee. Good to see you back on here again.
Reading between the lines there still seems to be some doubt as to whether this meeting is going ahead.

Kelv and Greeny seem to have changed tune from "we're gonna race" to "we still aren't sure". There are still huge pools of water on the inside of the traco (back straight I think) and thick slush on the rest. Meanwhile, back to the GP highlights...

Terry "30%" Russell has just explained that the meeting is off despite everyone's best efforts. Kelvin admitted that the damage was probably done even before today, and that the riders didn't fancy it at all. Triffic.
Once again, who'd be a paying spectator? They pay their £15, stand around until 8pm for a meeting that is inevitably going to be called off. Despite the sunny weather tonight, the track was simply swamped by the rain of the past 5 days or so. How many of those fans will return next week? In my opinion, this meeting would have been off mid afternoon but for the TV. Correct decision about 6 hours late.

Oh well. And they've swapped next week's coverage to Coventry.
C'est la vie.
(Opens beer to compensate.)
