Very good performance through 14 heats. Very pleased for Heff. It was obvious we were going to win tonight easily as TNT tipped Ippo for the title.
Who do we get in the quarters? Is this already our best cup run since we did the double in 96?

Having used Swiderski as TR, I think the only option open to them would be a 15 metre TS ride, (though they should probably have done that in heat 14.)
Impressive win against one of the form sides of the season. Ironically, it seems they are stronger at home than recent seasons but still quite poor away. Early days though...

Maybe next year, the BSPA can create a separate competition such that the first losers in the KO Cup get to play the first losers of the Premier KO Cup, in a winner-takes-nothing cup competition.

Good race heat 13. Witches on a 5-1 until lap 2 fourth turn when DAVID dives under hampel and takes him wide enough for FREDDIE to come through for third. Heat 14 clinches it. And the rain has hit Monmore. It's bucketing down. I'm just over 50 miles from W'ton and it's bone dry. Pleased for Christian, paid 10.

Oh, I've been away for too long. What's the rule nowadays? Just the one TR is it (how many points down, and how many down for a TS?) In the meantime, I'll just get my coat

But do you think we will beat Newport over 2 legs? Well, we will struggle since Neil Street is good round there, and George Hunter's van will break down en route

15 paid 18 from our reserves. Not often we;ve said that in recent years. I'm impressed by Iversen's scores.
Had a dig on the BSPA site: Eastbourne in the QF.
Many thanks to stevebrum for the texts.
Respect.

In the meantime, I'll just get my coat I think its one of each and 9 points down for a TR (programmed ride from the gate) and 8 down for a TS (from 15 metres). At least the team managers and referees know the rules... Newport will be tough. Finn Thomsen should be good for 7 rides but I've heard they might impound his engine.

oh you guys are so funny sometimes, and also so predictive, much better than t.v! great performance by all the boys tonight, Kenny looked a bit sore in his 1st ride. solid meeting for all of them. good to see Heff scoring well and some good passing too. Bring on Eastbourne.
