[quote author=ste If not why are my words changing lol? ??[/quote] ste - some words have been changed so if someone starts trying to put swear words on here they just get changed to something more friendly i guess you have picked one of these words

Coventry and Poole into the playoff final, who will win depends on the form team on the day.
Poole have the firepower and Coventry the potential.

Ste, You started a topic here called 4 teams to the play offs, if you want to start asking the moderators questions dont do it under a topic in the speedway discussion area go to the suggestions section then everything gets kept neat and tidy and the forum is a lot easier to browse. I'm not having a go mate, just a bit of constructive advice to all members

Coventry Poole Wolves Eastbourne This is only provisional as I want to see what Oxfords team is. I hate to say the s p o o n s are going to win but at the moment I think they will, but then they are the"nearly" team so perhaps they will show the same form this season I wonder if the P r a t t knows the dates of the playoff's this year? ;D

Hopefully there will be no clash this season. Coventry have no meeting on 27th September because that's the date of the AMA championship. (Just one meeting this time, not three.) However, if the play-offs are mid-week and the Americans have to return Tuesday to Tuesday again who knows.

If so then you shouldn't have that problem this season Gemini. It would be nice for us to win the league this year without all the wingeing that we had last season.

Pratty did the fixture list last year as well and had the Wednesday before the AMA as "no meeting" at Brandon, also there was a World Championship Stock Car meeting that weekend so the stadium was unavailable to Speedway. Eastbourne also had Stock Car racing arranged so what would they have done if they had to race in the play-offs rather than the final? But anyway, I don't want to get involved with all that again. I think the play-offs are a load of rubbish and the League Champions should be whoever finishes top of the League at the end of the season, but it looks like we have more of the same this year so good luck to the Wolves. Personally I don't care who finishes first, second or last - I just like to watch the racing and don't bother about all the silly politics.

I reckon the play off will be:
Coventry v Wolves and Poole v Peterboro with Poole beating Wolves in the Final. We have to move with the times as regards the play-offs, yes in an ideal world the team finishing top of the table would be Champs, but there is no doubt a Play-Off Final is more exciting than one team running away with it. We have to cater Speedway to what provides the greatest spectacle if we want to attract new fans ? It works well in other sports (i.e American Football has the "Super Bowl") although perhaps a trophy could be awarded to the side finishing top of the "regular season" table, to acknowledge the achievement ?
