Wow! Was there just a downpour or something? They even got as far as the coin-toss.
BTW, who the heck is Peter Kildemand?

Kildemand has been at Workington since last year. He was very impressive when I was at Worky in April and hius promoter views him very highly. As much and Cov and Poole definately find rules loopholes, they are always trying to win and get better and a signing like this makes them instant play off contenders.

Yes, he looked really good last night. I think you've hit the nail on the head on them always trying to improve. I'm all for having patience and giving the riders plenty of time to prove themselves, but as a fan, I expect my team to take the opportunity to improve their chances of winning rather than adopt this policy of "this is my team for the season and win or lose it will have to do"

Our main problem this year is the top heavy make up of the team gives very few options down below. Okay, Tyson moves who would take his spot? Joe Haines and others who filled in were no better. Wells CAN hit good points away sometimes but isn't the super reserve we had in 2009 (Proctor).
Of course in the spoon era of 6 match averages PK would have dropped his average by enough so that we could have had Adam for Tyson by May 1st.
Ironically now the new 'running averages' make it harder for the teams who play fairly (ie us) to make a change after the rules were changed to stop a team doing a Coventry 2010.

I wasn't advocating making a tea change* this season - I haven't seen enough of them recently to make a judgement to be honest. I was commenting on their style of team management over many years, i.e. pick a team and refuse to change it come what may. I still think it's like trying to win with one hand tied behind your back.
* or even a team change.
