I thought I would start a thread although I shall be watching on TV. Back later for comments, hoping for a 46-44 win.

I'm watching this on Sky+ and I'm a few minutes behind, but this is quite shocking to me. We had a heavy shower earlier but not enough to cause major problems, yes its on Sky but its Poole and there is nobody there. No fans, no atmosphere. Then you look at CVS' signings this season and is there any wonder? If the guy in charge is simply going through the motions...

But luckily the riders weren't just going through the motions! Excellent result, very strange meeting. Chris Holder falling out with the 2nd bend seemed to be the deciding factor but well done Wolves. Darcy Ward superb but admitted he had no idea who was winning the meeting and then went around punching the air with delight after the last heat when his team had just lost. Strange sport speedway.

Remarkable win. If I was a Poole fan I would be really furious.
But I'm not so another beer (Westmalle tripel) is called for.

Holder was said to be tired on Sky. If you follow him on Twitter you'll see it ain't all Speedway related!

Seems strange that one rider is 2.5 seconds faster than any other rider on show...
And did his best to disguise that fact by virtually stopping for the entire last lap in most of his rides.

Yet we still won?
So 13 lawn mowers and one rocket ship?

Yet we still won? So 13 lawn mowers and one rocket ship? One Rocket Ship doesn't make a Summer ;D ;D We didn't so much win it as Poole throw it away mainly due to their number one rider's inability to stay on his bike - so unfortunate for him being tired ;D ;D Wolfie

Tell me the last time you saw any rider, the length of the straight ahead of PK after 3 laps. Not only PK but Iversen too... and Watt who is no mug at Wolves was even further behind these two.

But until someone is prepared to stump up the protest fee money it is all pure speculation no matter how strong the rumours may be.
