As expected we slipped to a heavy defeat at Saddlebow Road.
Weather sunny but turned cool later on.
Track - excellent as always.
Referee - Jim Lawrence - had nothing out of the ordinary to do.
Freddie - improved as the night went on - Peter Adams was interviewed during the interval and said that he was again struggling with his clutches. Showed flashes of the Freddie of old in heats 13 and 15, and was unlucky to finish last in heat 15 when his bike lost power on the last lap 2/5
Pontus - he seems to have struggled since he blew his motor at Coventry in the Midland League and tonight was no different - simply not on the pace 0.5/5
Ty - scored 7 plus 1 from 5 rides which on the face of it doesn't look too bad until you see who he beat !! He beat Nermark in his first ride and then Szczepaniak in his second - after that he only beat Wolves riders - heat 10 summed him up - twice he passed Screen inside only for Screen to repass him outside with pure power - yet again too slow 1.5/5
Robert - 2 good gates from which he scored and 3 lousy ones when he finished last - is he really Danish? 3/5
Ricky - had a mixed night - another who looked great when he gated but too far behind when he missed it - still the best Wolf on show 4/5
Lukas - too slow yet again - but by some miracle he managed to keep Screen and Wolbert behind him in heat 8 - mainly because neither seemed brave enough to make a blast around the outside of him 2/5
All in all another pretty poor showing - lets hope that we somehow manage to find a miracle signing.
