So who is going ?
My daughters birthday is June 8th, so when it was announced this year was June 1st I knew it was ok to go ...... until my wife rearranges her birthday party a week early !!
It's a joint birthday party with two others celebrating their 11th birthday around the same time and was rearranged because one of her best friends is on holiday on the 8th.
So I was told that I was NOT going to Cardiff this year which I grudgingly had to accept ....... until now !!
After going to Birmingham on Wednesday I was offered a deal that I found hard to turn down so after speaking to my daughter, eldest son (16), the wife and some close friends they all agreed that I CAN go to Cardiff
Well all accept the wife !! ..... Her reply was Do what you like you $@x£/# !!
So ........ I'M GOING TO CARDIFF !!!! ;D
Who else is going to cheer on TAI and FREDDIE ?
?

You pose an interesting question because for me, with the GP being an individual event, all team loyalty goes out the window. So, as a fiercely patriotic Brit, I will be cheering for Tai (and Bomber), despite being a Wolves fan of 40 years standing. In the GPs, Frede is just another opponent and as he is not British, I won't be cheering him on.

When it comes to football, I will cheer on England (even if there are Mancs in the team) and was fully behind the Brits at the Olympics ..... but when it comes to Speedway, I'm fully behind the riders I like and the Wolves riders.
So my perfect result at Cardiff would be Emil, Freddie and Tai on the rostrum .... in any order

I was a little torn last year as even though he is a flea I do like Nicholls but between him and our super Swede Steady Fred..............it has to be....................Freddie ;D
So this year
1st = Tai 2nd = Freddie 3rd = Bomber 4th = Ales Dribble ;D ;D ;D ;D
That will do me ha ha

Bit concerning to read about the problems with the track during practice. You'd think after this much practice that they'd be able the track right. Last thing we need is for the showpiece event to be ruined.
Hopefully they can get the track raceable in the next 24 hours.

Rubbish meeting mainly due to a rubbish track - glad I watched it on TV.
Best wishes to Tai for a speedy recovery.
Thought Freddie was harshly excluded for the incident in which Tai was injured as he didn't seem to do much wrong.

You'd think after 13 years they would be capable of producing a RACE TRACK for what is the biggest meeting of the year.
Hope Tai has a speedy recovery but can anyone tell me how the hell KK can not be excluded in the Prague final and Freddie was at Cardiff ? Poor decision ! Wolfie56

TBF on more occasions than not, they've got the track at Cardiff right. The last few years its been very good (2010 and 2012 are the best two I've seen there.
However, they clearly had major problems on the Friday and in a way deserve credit for getting a rideable (if not RACEABLE track) in the space of a few hours.
Hopefully they'll learn from this and will do better in 2014. I never miss Cardiff and this won't deter me from going.

can anyone tell me how the hell KK can not be excluded in the Prague final and Freddie was at Cardiff ? Poor decision ! Wolfie56 Firstly, I think the crash where Tai was injured was NOT Freddie's fault as he went for a gap that was there and there was minimal contact. Tai moved out the way and got caught out with Vaculik and couldn't stop running into Nicki Pedersen. If anyone had to be excluded, I would have thought Tai had more chance of missing out. As for KK in Prague, if you mean his pass of Freddie where he dived up the inside, think it was more to do with in Prague there was no fallers and the race not stopped. Had Freddie have fallen, then maybe KK would have been excluded just as he could have been done in the Cardiff final on the final turn when he tried to force his way through Emil. Not a great meeting, but didn't think it was that bad as many made out. It never gives great racing and most passes are from mistakes or hard riding but love the day and thanks to Tai for the passes for the day which made it even more special visiting the pits and having a bite to eat in the sunshine. Shame it ended with falls for Freddie and Tai and hopefully Tai can recover asap when he has it plated and pinned.
