We did get our of jail against Swindon and until the last race it was lower than usual scores from the heat leaders that held us back rather than the absence of proctor. Still think the r/r is putting too much pressure in the lower end of the team though and this will cost us eventually. And when is Ricky going to sort his gating out? This was a strength for him last season but this year he just cannot trap. I think 3 paid 4 from Proctor's rides was the main reason we struggled so much against Swindon. The middle order just aren't able to cover for him at the moment and a signing is needed - Adams said on WM that a signing was still two weeks off which seems to imply it will happen when the next set of averages come in. Does Ty's average change on 1st August? Or are other tracks releasing riders then that would fit the bill for us?

Does Ty's average change on 1st August? Or are other tracks releasing riders then that would fit the bill for us? I'm not sure - they seem to make the rules up as they go alomg these days but that was the only reason I could think of for waiting two weeks to name a replacment. The other option is that they are thinking of replacing two riders - one of which is Ty - within the points limit and in two weeks time the riders being kept may have dropped their averages enough to enable us to do this. Just specualtion really but something has to be done. Wolfie

Cant see it being that. The team is well over the 42.5 limit so like for like replacements are the only option, although in Tys case it really is not like for like as his average this season is 1.2 higher than the average we can use to replace him(rolling average).
Have to say though as last night proved we really do need someone to come in and do a job as R/R against the better sides is not enough
Tys average wont change again this season(reply to above question by DJ)

Ty Proctor will start 2014 on his current 5.78 average as it won't change again this season.
However what is concerning is that everyone else will have new averages during the remainder of the season. After Monday, Adam now has a rolling average of 6.32 while Ricky is down to 5.59.
When you go back 28 matches for Adam, the next few results that will be removed from his average are quite low scores (9pts / 8 rides) so his average is likely to go up a bit more.
However go back 28 matches for Ricky and he was scoring well and his next four matches consist of 29 pts from just 16 rides. Therefore it is likely his average will go down.
Had Adam's rolling average had dropped below Ty's then R/R would be much better as it would give Tai an extra ride along with Adam, Ricky and a reserve

I think the facts you point out about Adam and Ricky is good news not bad. Ricky has only been a fraction below Ty on a rolling average. If he had crept above him then R/R would have become even more untenable, so the fact that Ricky's average has gone down a bit is actually good news.
However, unless we sign a replacement, we remain in a situation for the remainder of the season where the only riders that can take a R/R ride are ones that in 2013 are scoring less than Ty was. So we are inevitably weaker.

I dont think its r/r thats been the trouble but coventry based geaust fisher kennet and nicholls all three cost us points away. As for replacement i think adams waiting for fred to return first

Got to get a replacement for Ty ASAP. We can't stick with R/R for the rest of the season, and Ljung would be my pick (although it depends on whether he can fit Britain into his schedule.
With Poole signing Hancock, I feel that makes them clear favourites for 4th place, so we will be vulnerable in the play-offs. At the moment, my 1-4 is Birmingham, Swindon, us and Poole. The positive with us is that, even with a depleted side hit by injuries, we're still picking up points in most meetings.

Eastbourne sign Michelsen to replace Denis Gisatulin but they are still below 40 points. They could fit in Linus Sundstrom 7.17 who is now back racing and release Simon Gustafsson 5.28 who hasn't had a great season so far.
IF ..... Only IF this was going to happen (no evidence this will happen), surely a fourth Swede in the team who is much better than his average suggests could be the perfect signing before the play offs.
So please Eastbourne ..... sign Sundstrom ...... please !!

I can appreciate that the management surely trying to get the best replacement they can for Proctor but surely if other teams signing riders surely we need to look at ourselves and think hang on these are strengthening we need too now!! Think we will be okay tomorrow against the fleas but come the away meetings we need a strong number 2!

Stuart Robson, Tomasz Jedrzejak, Peter Ljung, Daniel Nermark, Magnus Zetterstroem, Mikael Max, Dennis Andersson, Ryan Fisher, Simon Gustafsson, Kyastas Podzhuks, E-coli Klindt, Pontus Aspgren.... Who will be revealed ? First of all the list of names you have given ...... in my opinion a rating upto 10 of the chances of being a #2 Stuart Robson - At Coventry so NO 1/10 Tomasz Jedrzejak - Belle Vue or Lakeside asset at 34 has been called over before for the play offs but his form here is never usually as good as his Polish form and although he still hits some decent scores in Sweden and Poland, he has been pretty average in most matches and I would think unlikely to be unvieled at Wolves unless Tai can talk him around 4/10 Peter Ljung - By far the best in your list with an average that fits and showed that in the SWC where he was the only Swedish rider capable of putting up a fight. Like Jedrzejak and Nermark, he rides at Wroclaw along with Tai and I think as Wroclaw are not going to feature in the Polish play offs then he could be a decent chance of appearing closer to the play offs. 8/10 Daniel Nermark - Just had his 36th birthday and spent sometime on the sidelines injured. Could be a decent signing but not too sure he wants to ride here at present. 5/10 Magnus Zetterstrom - Average dropped to 5.78 but can't see it 2/10 Mikael Max - Now in his 40's and last EL average too high - NON RUNNER Dennis Andersson - Struggling in most meetings other than the Alveskan League. 2/10 Ryan Fisher - Still at Peterborough - Very slim chance - 1/10 Simon Gustafsson - Unless Eastbourne sign Sundstrom, unlikely - 2/10 Kyastas Podzhuks - Last time he rode over here he struggled and averaged less than 3 a meeting. Obviously much better now but would elevate Ludvig to the main body. 4/10 E-coli Klindt - Kings Lynn and Peterbourgh couldn't get points out of him so can see us doing any better. 2/10 Pontus Aspgren - At Rye House and showing up well but not a replacement for Ty. 1/10 Unlikely but one possible bargain for next year is Marcin Rempala who last averaged 3.27 over here and isn't riding that much this year. However when he does he scores well while Tobiaz Musielak may be happy to get a few more meetings under his belt and a very good prospect if looked after

As regards to Rempala and Musielak in your scoring out of 10 for them to ride for us, I would give both of them 0.5 / 10.
I think 2014 will a much the same look side as 2013, Wells, Proctor back (if fit) Lindgrens, Woffinden, Thorssell, only question mark for me is if Skornicki would want to ride another year in Britain

Musielak however may be seen sooner than you think ..... but at whch track As for 2014, I think the way things are heading we will do well to have 4 of this years team back next season. If it heads the way many RUMOURS are predicting then most likely to be in the Wolves team next season are Woffy, Ty, Jacob, Nicolai and Ashley Morris with the last two places possibly Ricky and Pontus

If those rumours are true then it doesn't really matter who is on the team because there won't be enough people going through the turnstiles to make it a going concern
