Freddie is missing the meeting to travel to Russia for the Euro Championships.
Very disappointing action by Fred and would seem to scupper any chances of a point from the meeting.
There is no facility for his absence and we are to use Lewis Kerr.

Very disappointed with Freddie over this. Yes the money may be good, but is he really going to win the event? We've stuck by him for 10 years and granted him a testimonial, and this is how he repays us?
I think the fact CVS has released a statement, along with the tone of his comments, suggest he won't forget this in a hurry

Very disappointing. Freddie always seemed to be a rare breed in these days - top rider, loyal to the club but to do this a few months after Wolves fans gave him a massive pay cheque in his testimonial is very poor indeed.
Freddie's actions show everything which is wrong with the league now - if your top rider has bigger fish to fry it sets a poor example to the rest of the team. A league of riders who actually want to race for the team they are in is what the league needs ahead of big names. Last night's lack of fight made me shudder compared to the old Wolves / Spoons derbies - even when they tonked us you could tell the riders were as devastated as us. Last night was far from those derbies.
Perhaps Freddie has reached that point where he feels he needs to drop England to reach the next level in the GPs. I personally would question whether he is even in the series next year.
I know he has had a bad injury that he came back from early but essentially riders do this now based on not missing GPs.
If anything his actions today would hopefully on the positive side open the door to a Tai / PK spearhead next year in a perhaps a PK farewell season. Doesn't sound so bad does it?

With Lewis Kerr taking three rides alongside the R/R and another in heat 13, Wolves are really going to struggle in this one now but in Rohan Tungate we have a good guest for Ricky and hopefully Ludvig and Jacob can get amongst the points here which is something they couldn't do on Wednesday.
Yes we should be trying for top spot, but that looks unlikely with Brummies and Swindon having games in hand and I personally think we will finish third even if we has Freddie here and gained a point or more.

Well a decent effort at Brandon by the looks of it. Good to see a bit of spirit from the lads after the disaster at Perry Barr. Hopefully we can build on that and get some revenge on Birmingham next week.

Yes most unfortunate to say the least that we didnt get at least a point.Their guest rides out of his skin,KK actually puts 5 decent rides together,Freddie's and Ricky's replacements scored 2 points.Perm any other situation and we would have won comfortably.Don't forget Proctor rides Coventry nearly as well as The Green. That being said,3rd place is probably where we'll finish, even if we had won there tonight.Nice to see some fight back from the reserves and Adam showing some fair form.
