A group of us speedway fans were talking about the gp quilfiers and came to the conclusion it is biased towards current gp riders in that they have two chances to qulify for 2015 top 8 or through the qual . take harris for ex clearly not good enough for gps yet he gets one off the british qualifing slots instead of that slot going to some one else to try get in. we feel that if you are in the gps then you should not have second chance to get in if you not good enough for top 8 miss a year an d go through qualifiers like all the other riders trying to get in gp. theres all ways the nomanees if a rider in the gp has bad luck and misses out . any way thats 15th place in 2015 gp sorted

The whole qualifying route is a bit of a mess really. Freddie might get in next year is because Ward and Iversen are both out for the season so he might finish in the top 8. Then the only reason Kildemand might not get in is because he was excluded in the Challenge and Iversen will get a wild card place and Kildemand probably won't cause there are two Danes there already. And if Freddie and Jonsson don't finish in the top 8 then one of them will get nominated cause they will want a swede in the tournament.
It all starts to feel a bit political and it would be no surprise if we arrive at the point in the future where all the places are determined by the organiser's panel based on each of the major speedway nations getting their ration, and the balance determined by who would draw the biggest TV audience and sponsorship.
