HOW THE HAMMERS SUNK THE PIRATES
Ht1: PEDERSEN, Havelock, Povazhny, KASPRZAK (e/f) 3-3 (3-3)
Great start by Havvy, but Pedersen managed to get the better of him coming out on the 2nd bend. KK was battling for 3rd before suffereing engine failure.
Ht2: Hurry. MORTON, KENNETT, Swist 3-3 (6-6)
Ht3: Larsen, LINDBACK, Lanham, FERJAN 4-2 (10-8)
A great start initially from Lindback but Larsen powered past him on the back straight.
Ht4: Norris, SULLIVAN, Swist, KENNETT (fell ex) 4-2 (14-10)
Unsatisfactory start. Kennett excluded from the rerun. In the third running Sullivan made a shocking start and took a couple of laps to catch and pass Swist for second.
Ht5: Lanham, PEDERSEN, KASPRZAK, Larsen 3-3 (17-13)
Good ride by Lanham keeping Pedersen at bay for the whole race despite Bjarne's constant attempts to get past.
Ht6: Havelock, Povazhny, SULLIVAN, MORTON 5-1 (22-14)
Povazhny down - all four back. In the rerun Sullivan made an awful start taking virtually the whole race to get 3rd over Morton.
Ht7: Norris, Hurry, FERJAN, LINDBACK X 5-1 (27-15)
Lindback down on the first turn with Hurry putting the bike down Lindback excluded from rerun. Second attempt and a great gate from Norris.

KK out as a tactical ride
Ht9: Lanham, Larsen, MORTON, SULLIVAN (e/f) 5-1 (37-18)
Finally a decent start from Sullivan who led the race comfortably until engine failure on the 3rd lap to give the Hammers yet another maximum heat advantage.
Ht10. Havelock, Povazhny, FERJAN, LINDBACK (fell ex) 5-1 (42-19)
Lindback as tac ride. Locked up and excluded.
Ht11. KASPRZAK, Norris, PEDERSEN, Hurry 2-4 (44-23)
Great ride from KK going wide and coming out with the lead after a tight first couple of bends.
Ht12. Lanham, Swist, FERJAN, MORTON 5-1 (49-24)
Another great ride from Lanham.
Ht13. Norris, PEDERSEN, Havelock, SULLIVAN 2-4 (51-26)

Ht15: Havelock, PEDERSEN, KASPRZAK, Norris 3-3 (61-30)
