As expected Wolves slipped to a heavy defeat at The Abbey.
Weather - Fine and sunny but breezy - the temperature dropped markedly later on, but it always seems cold at Swindon.
Track - well prepared but became a bit dusty later on.
Crowd - surprisingly poor considering they hadn't had a home meeting for 3 weeks and the team are doing so well. Only 7 Wolves fans spotted at a track where there is usually a large Wolves away contingent.
Referee - P.Griffin - made a few strange decisions - two call backs for restarts when there seemed little wrong and all four back in heat one looked a bit dodgy as Andersen was well at the back when he fell off.
Freddie - Looked a bit down on power - unlucky in heat one as he had gated and was gone before Andersen fell off for a restart - 3/5
Lukasz - made 3 gates but was behind by the time the riders emerged from the second bend - clearly out of his depth - 0/5
TY - battled hard all night but again lacked straight line speed. Unlucky in heat 12 when he and Thomas gated side by side only for Thomas to take him wide on the second bend - however his on track spat with Thomas after the race did him no credit - that should have been kept until they had returned to the pits - 3/5
Rory - unlucky in his first ride - was trying to team ride Ingalls round for a 3 all but Ingalls took him wide on the second bend on lap 3 which relegated them both to the back - a nasty fall in his second ride when he clipped Morris' back wheel on the entry to the first bend of lap 2 which sent them both careering into the fence - didn't look right after that - nice touch that he apologised to Morris and the fans and Promotion of Wolves on Twitter afterwards - 1/5
Thomas - started well but faded as the night went on - 2/5
Kenny - the opposite of Thomas - started poorly but improved as the night went on 2.5/5
I suspect that the promotion will just be glad to get this one out of the was to give Lukasz his 4th away meeting.
