Meeting is off and Freddie declared 3rd. It appears that the title has been decided by a ballot and it appears that Suchanek is celebrating but no definite result yet. More when I get it. I'm really confused right now

I just feel sorry for Lawt and other s who went all that way. I suppose sense prevailed as far as riders' safety is concerned but this is not speedway's most glorious moment.

If there is a restaging date then they should use it rather than reach the result in such an amateurish fashion. Can't understand why, if conditions were as bad as reported, Steele didn't go for the restaging option straightaway.

What a sport eh? Yet again speedway shoots itself in the foot! Very surprised at Steeley, if its that bad, usually its rider safety first with him. Unless, he is being pressed by officials from the F.I.M.

Kasprzak is declared World Under 21 Champion by the toss of a coin in the pits! Suchanek 2nd. Freddie Lindgren 3rd.
Absolute farce... how can you decide a world champion on the toss of a coin.
Our reporters say the meeting should have been called off after heat 4 or not started at all.

Mark Sawbridge said if you can imagine the wettest rain off you've ever seen. Multiply it by 3. And they rode. No work done on the track and by the end there was literally more standing water on the track than shale.
I feel really sorry for everyone who made the journey over for this. Once again speedway - and the FIM - shoot themselves in the foot.
My guess at this is that the FIM bigwigs wanted this meeting decided todat at any cost. The rules no doubt state that after heat 12 a result can be declared by using the toss of a coin if necessary so that is what was done.
Rumour at the track was that Tony Steele asked the 2 riders if they would have a run off but Suchanek said no. They tossed a coin and Kasprzak won.
Either way it's over... thanks for following!

What a load of crap! There are riders there who have travelled far and wide just to get to this farce, for some of them its thier last chance of the title. And to finish it like this, well its just beyond me! Or is it? After what I went through, and witnessed the sometimes total inept way they run OUR sport, it really shouldnt surprise me at all!

Only in speedway could the result of a major championship be decided on the toss of a coin!!

Not sure about a coin toss to decide it. Paper, stone and scissors is more appropriate for speedway.
