Kasprzak is declared World Under 21 Champion by the toss of a coin in the pits! Suchanek 2nd. Freddie Lindgren 3rd. Absolute farce... how can you decide a world champion on the toss of a coin. Our reporters say the meeting should have been called off after heat 4 or not started at all. YOU WHAT? So the rest of my family, and their friends, have travelled all that way and made all their fantastic preparations...in order to, effectively, have the p*** taken out of them by the so-called officials? How the hell can you decide a major international title (although clearly no-one in charge views it as one!) on the toss of a coin?! And this after having to witness something that could never, ever be described as speedway racing. Absolutely bloody ridiculous. Blimey, you don't know how infuriated I am at the moment - I can only imagine how those who are there feel - I'm surprised there hasn't been a riot. When I have taken a good long look at any reports and photos and spoken to those who were there, I will be writing a very angry letter to the Speedway Star. Not that anyone "in charge" will take any notice of course.

What a joke,at least offer paper, scissors stone...... I believe that they are saving that rule for next year's Knockout Cup, as the new Tactical Golden Silver Double Substitute Ride

I've now calmed down after yesterday - apologies if my post above offended anyone, I just had to say something!

Thanks to everyone who wished us well or sympathised with us. In fact we had a great (but tiring) time over the four days but the meeting was quite literally appalling. We decided that if a coin toss was all that was needed we would stage our own World Championship on the centre green after the meeting was abandoned. The coin was duly and ceremoniously tossed and RICH was declared as official FIM World Champion. See below for the picture of him on the podium after receiving the accolade. Now I really must bath and sleep. (Mark & Rich: the trainers are in the bin!!)www.lawtech-design.co.uk/wolves/images/wiener neustadt 077-rich.jpg[/img]
