Billy gates in 4 but is chased down and passed by Kolodziej, who looks very fast. Christian tussling with Gjedde until he slid off on the last lap. Ironically, Gjedde suffered ef on the last turn so we could have got a 3-3.

Hi Steve. Magnus looks way off the pace again. Going to be close this. Expect Kolodziej to have six rides.

Hi Steve... Yeah Martin, having a 'reserve' going as well as he is, is an obvious boon.

Koldziej has to be the bargain of the year on 4.50. Not sure how the rules allow the Polish Champion to come in on that kind of average, but good luck to Reading for spotting it. Simota has also impressed with some steady reserve scores this year.
We need Zagar and Mcgowan to keep up their early form for us to sneak this one, along with the usual from An*y Sm*th

Didn't see Heat 8 coming! Magnus flies out the traps and Christian follows him home. The guy who chased down Billy and passed him has reverted to '1970s style Polish rider visits funny English speedway track'.

It's worse than that, Kolodziej starting ave is 4.00 I don't often have sympathy with PA but how do you team manage Magnus Could Kolodziej be a gating Polish tart
